Starstatz Racing HKG 27 December 2011

In the recently concluded Singapore Racing Season and Best Strike Rate Challenge Singapore Nap emerged Champion with 33.0% (34 wins/31 placings from 103 selections with the advantage of early late Mail Service(without full benefits of the late mail service) . In 2nd spot was the Winner21 Challenge Winner Andrew Frost with 30.67%.(295 winners from 962 selections .The Starstatz Racing blog had a late surge in form to pip Champion Racebook Tipster Racing Guide by winning the last 2 races on the last day to decide 3rd position with 30.19%. (144 wins from 477 selections). Racing Guide's tally was 29.83 % ( 287 wins from 962 selections. Tan Thean Loon came in a valiant 5th with 29.52% (284 wins from 962 selections).

I am a little ring rusty as I have not done HKG Racing since early this season but I will challenge Racing Guide , Punters Way, Blogger HS chan and the 2 HKG Stalwarts Ma TAt and Phillip Woo and compete with them for just one day and let's see if I can keep pace with these regular tipsters. I have used all the Handicapping tools available from the HKGJC website except sectional times due to time constraints and see how I measure up.! BESIDES COMPARING WINNERS LET'S SEE HOW MANY TIERCES/QUARTETS AND QUADROS i AM ABLE TO STRIKE USING ONLY ON BANKER OR 2 BANKERS AS STIPULATED EG RACE 5 RACE 6 AND RACE 9.IN THOSE RACES WHERE 2 BANKERS ARE USED DO DROP THE 7TH PICK FROM THE EXOTICS . i SHALL LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEW SINGAPORE RACING SEASON WITH EXTENSIVE USE OF SECTIONAL TIMES...A HANDICAPPING TOOL THAT HAS PROVED IMMENSELY SUCCESSFUL FOR ME IN SEASON 2011. sEASONS GREETING TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS AND READERS!

Starstatz Racing 16 December 2011

We are nown the final stretch in the strike rate Challenge and Singapore Nap is in a strong commanding 3% lead at 33 66% with Frosty in 2nd and Racing Guide is in 3rd . For percentages detailed percentages please check out my other blog on www.7naps.com. Starstatz Racing at 29.82% has a marginal lead over Tan Thean Loon and it will be a thrilling drive to the finish line and I wouldn't be surprised if lose my current as I highly respect the Monsieur from Penang who knows his horses well but win or lose I will try my best ! I have already mentioned in detail why I have an unfair advantage but have also explained that I am not working under ideal conditions. I am proud of my work this season as I was a long last after 10 selections with 30 % placinge but not q single win for the month of January but faithfully recorded n announced my last position dutifully even though it was embarrassing to say the least. I managed to break through the to break through the Top 5 by mid year and improved with the advent of sectional times in early September. I believe the dominance by Top 5 is linked to the introduction of sectional times and by a strange phenomenon they are all from the English Media. I suspect that there are hardly any publications on this subject in Mandarin . Today should good for betting due to thorough research ...play NBR s on the left of the stroke..... My selections are R1 12-2-1/3-4-9-7 small bet R2 med 2-1-11/4-3-10-2 best longshot R3 med 2-5-4-3/12-7-8 suggest Dutch bet equal on 5 .R4 small 9-1-2-4/5-7-11 R5 big 7-6-1/5-12-10-8 best bet R6 big best vale bet 3-1-7/9-10-6-8 R7 small 4-5-3/8-2-1R8 3-2-4-11/7-1-12 R9 big 4-2-6-8/9-7-1 not upgrade of 2 can consider small cover bet due good track reports on 2 fct box n pft box 4-2-6-8. STARSTATZ RACING 11 DECEMBER 2011

Although I have not done thorough research I have done a quick form assessment and felt confident that my 1st pick along with the other contendors should have a high scoring day with bountiful winners today. With the input from the track watcher I have changed my selection from Captain Obvious on Singapore Nap to Merchant whose Damsire is by the Champion Australian Sire Luskin Star and the Dam of merchant had one win over 1100M. I have also changed the order of selections as he suspects Captain Obvious withdrawal indicated more serious problems that that for Merchant and Powerful Tree.Today will be a good betting day for win play and forecast but due to skimpy research do go slow on the other exotics. I have used a slash to separate the likely winners from the place chances so forecast bets would be good coupled with place forecasts. sINGAPORE NAP IS 1ST WITH 33.0% IN THE STRIKE RATE CHALLENGE AND STARSTATZ RACING IS CURRENTLY 5TH WITH 29.44%

These are my selections:-

RACE 1 MEDIUM (UPGRADED NOW THAT MAIN THREAT ZINLY IS A SCRATCHING)....5-11/6-1-2-7-9

RACE 2 MEDIUM.....11-7 / 10-8-2-9-3

RACE 3 BIG....2-12/5-9-7-1-10....LONE FRONT RUNNER ADVANTAGE SO PACE WILL BE VERY SLOW...SHOULD BE ABLE TO LEAD ALL THE WAY

RACE 4 MEDIUM....12-4/11-7-6-3-1

race 5 SMALL...8-7-2/1-3-5-4....BEST LONGSHOT OF THE DAY...HE HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED BY THE MARKET AND HAS THE BEST HR IN THIS RACE BUT GOING UP IN DISTANCE FOR THE 1ST TIME....HIS SIRE MADE OF GOLD IS A SPRINTER MILER TYPE...HENCE THE DOUBT BUT WE RECKON THAT HE CAN STAY THROUGH DAMSIRE BLOODLINES AS TATE GALLERY IS A FULL BROTHER TO SADLER WELLS WHO CAN STAY ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT.....SUGGEST A 3 WAY BOX ON TOP 3 SELECTIONS FOR FORECAST/PLACE FORECAST AS 2 IS THE TRACKWATCHER PICK

RACE 6 SMALL....4-2-7/ 1-9-5-6...HAS BEST HR BUT BADLY DRAWN

RACE 7 BIG....3-2/6-5-4-8-9...BEST BET OF THE DAY...BETTER SECTIONAL TIMES THAN MAIN THREAT TROPICAL FOREST...ALTHOUGH HE IS A MILER/STAYER TYPE HE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO TAKE THIS AVERAGE LOT AND HE IS BY A CLASSY GROUP 1 WINNING DAM

RACE 8 MEDIUM...3-5-1-7/2-6....FORECAST /PLACE FORECAST THE TOP 4 BOX FOR VALUE

RACE 9 MEDIUM....6-8/1-4-7-12-3...USED SECTIONAL TIMES TO SEPARATE 6 AND 8 ALTHOUGH 6 HAS THE BETTER HANDICAP BUT WINLESS

RACE 10 BIG...1-8/4-10-9-3-2...BEST FORECAST OF THE DAY

RACE 11....BIG...2///8-1-3-10-11-6....SHOO-IN BET OF THE DAY...BEST QUARTET PLAY

HIGH SCORING DAY ...DO BET MORE ON BETS TAGGED BIG AND INCREASE BETS BY 20% IF YOU ARE UP AS THE DAY PROGRESSES...DO PLAY THE HORSES ON THE LEFT OF THE SLASHES IN A BIG WAY FOR FORECASTS AND PLACE FORECASTS

09 December 2011

STARSTATZ RACING LATE MAIL SERVICE TRIAL 09 DEC 2011

THE WIN FOR LAGO BAY WAS ONLY $11. WHEN I MENTIONED I FOLLOWED THE TRACKWATCHER'S REPORT THIS INFORMATION WAS FROM AN ADVANCE TRACK REPORT AND i DO NOT HAVE AN ASSESSMENT OF CONDITION IN PADDOCK BY THE KEEN EYE OF A PREOFFESIONAL TRACKWATCHER.
THE FORECAST WAS A WHOPPING $30 AND THE TIERCE SHOWED A MODEST PROFIT WITH A RETURN OF $255.

PRACTICALLY EVERY TRACK WATCHER HAS MENTIONED 7 TO WIN WITH 1 AND 4 AS 2ND PICKS AND 3RD PICKS. i SHALL USE MY EXPERIMENTAL HANDICAPPING TOOL ONE LAST TIME AND CHANGE MY SELECTIONS FROM 7#1-4-3-2-6 TO 7#1-3-4-2-6-8. BY UPGRADING 3 TO A KEY HORSE IN PLACE OF OF 4 WOULD INDICATE SLIGHTLY THE WEAK IMPUT ON THE OUTCOME OF RACES. iF 3 DOES NOT MAKE IT ON BOARD I WILL DISCARD IT INTO THE DUSTBIN.

i SUGGEST A BIG BET ON WIN ONLY ON 7 WITH A BIG BET FORECAST/PLACE FORECAST ON 7#1-3 INSTEAD OF 7#1-4 ON SINGAPORE NAP...FOR REASONS SUGGESTE ON SINGAPORE NAP 7 HAS SUPERIOR HR/SF AND SECTIONAL TIMES...3 ACTUALLY HAS THE BEST hr BUT SF IS POOR IN COMPARISON TO 7. COVER 731-3/FIELD AND 7#1-3/1-3-4/ FIELD FOR QUARTET...USE THE 2ND BET TO COVER THE MENTIONED HORSES INSTEAD OF FIELD FOR AN EXTRA BET FOR TIERCE/QUARTET....IF YOU $7 OR MORE ON THE WIN DIVIDEND IT IS A GOOD DEAL BUT THE EXOTICS SHOULD GIVE U A BETTER RETURN USING 7 AS THE LONE BANKER AND SHOULD PROVIDE VALUE IF 3 MAKES THE TOP 3 TO DISPLACE 4.

A PROFESSIONAL DONE RESEARCH ON DATA THAT WE POSSESS SHOULD PROVE A BOON OF HANDICAP DATA TO BENEFIT THE AVERAGE RACEGOER...THIS INFORMATION COULD BE RELEASED ON STC WEBSITE FOR THE BENEFIT OF HORSE PLAYERS LIKE SPEED MAP HR/SF AND SECTIONAL TIMES

STARSTATZ RACING LATE MAIL SERVICE 2011

THE WRITING WAS ON THE WALL WHEN SILENT FAITH DID NOT TAKE THE LEAD AND WITHOUT PROPER RESEARCH ON HANDICAPS I PAID THE PRICE.. wITH THE FAILIURE IN THIS RACE MY EXPERIMENT WITH A NEW HANDICAP TOOL HAS FAILED MISERABLY. AS I HAD MENTIONED BEFORE I ONLY DID RESEARCH ON RACE 6 AND RACE 9 FOR TODAY AND THAT HAS BEEN THE FOUNDATION OF MY SUCCESS THIS PAST SEASON AND SO IT HAS PROVEN IN RACE 6 AND HOPEFULLY CONFORMED WHEN IP MAN WINS IN RACE 9 AS WELL.

i SHALL DROP BACK TO MEDIUM BET IN RACE 8 WITH A PICK ON TRACK WATCHERS SPECIAL RECOMMENDATION NUMBER 4 LAGO BAY AS I DID NOT DO HANDICAP RESEARCH ON THIS RACE.
FORECAST / PFT 4 WITH 3--2-5 AND CONCENTRATE 4 BOX -3-2-5-1 FOR TIERCE OR PLAY ANOTHER BET ON 4#3-2-5/FIELD FOR TIERCE. i SUGGEST TO SKIP QUARTET UNLESS YOU HAVE A BIG BUDGET TO PLAY 4#3-3-5/3-2-5/ FIELD

STARSTATZ RACING 09 DEC 2011 LATEMAIL SERVICE

IN MY BLOG ON 7NAPS LAST NIGHT I RECOMMENDED DUTCH BETTING ON JOHN OF ARCH AND LOCKDOWN IN RACE 6 BUT CHANGED MY 1ST PICK TO 3 BUT DID SUGGEST EQUAL COVER BET ON JOHN OF ARCH AND MENTIONED THAT DESPITE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT JOCKEY CLAIM I MENTIONED THAT 5 STILL HAD 01.LENGTH ADVANTAGE AND THE BEST SECTIONAL TIMES . AS PREDICTED 1 FLOPPED BADLY BUT MISSED 8 FOR THE EXOTICS. AT A DIVIDEND OF $36 FOR THIS RACE I EXPANDED $5 X 2 SO THE ROI FOR THIS RACE IS $36 DIVIDED BY 10 EQUALS 3.6 PONYS AND SHOULD MAKE UP FOR THE 3 LOSSES IN RACE 2 RACE 3 AND RACE 4.

IN RACE 7 I RECOMMEND A BIG BET ON LONE FRONT RUNNER NBR 7 SILENT FAITH...SAIMEE DID NOT GIVE HIM A GOOD RUN AND TOOK AN UNNECESSARY BIG LEAD. TODAY HE SHOULD TAKE A SMALL LEAD AND HAVE A FULL FINISHING BURST LEFT FOR THE FINAL STRETCH. NORMALLY IT IS NOT WISE TO PUT A BIG BET IN CLASS 5 RACE BUT DOWNGRADE TO MEDIUM BIG BET IF DESIRED. I WILL PUT JOKER BET ON THIS RACE ON 7.....SUGGEST FCT/PFT WITH 7#1-3-8 AND TIERCE 7/1-3-8/FIELD AND ADD QUARTET 7/1-3-8/1-3-8/FIELD IF YOU HAVE A BIG BUDGET

STARSTATZ LATE MAIL SERVICE 09 DEC 2011

iT IS NOT FAIR AS i MENTIONED IT AFTER THE RACE ...ANY BIG BET SHOULD BE A JOKER BET IE THE JOKER BET IS NOT ON EVERY RQACE BUT ONLY SELECTED RACES BUT I SHOULD BE MEASURED ON ROI IE THE WIN DIVIDEND IS $10....THAT WOULD MEAN $10 DIVIDED BY $5 IE 2-1 RETURNS.FOR AN INVESTMENT OF $72 FOR TIERCE WE LOST MONEY WITH A RETURN OF $54. BUT THE QUARTET INVESTMENT JUST PAID OFF WITH AN INVESTMENT OF &192 FOR A RETURN OF $1176....THE FORECAST PAID OFF WITH $8 INVESTMENT FOR RETURN OF $14 AND THE PFT PAID $6, $6 FOR A RETURN OF $8

IN RACE 6 I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT 1 WILL NOT DO WELL DESPITE THE GLOWING REPORT FROM THE TRACKWATCHER ...HIS STABLEMATE 3 WILL FARE BETTER WITH A APPRENTICE JOCKEY WITH DECENT STRIKE RATE... i WILL PLAY IT SAFE AND RECOMMEND 3 AS A MEDIUM BET WITH AN EQUAL COVER BET ON 5 JOHN OF ARCH WHO HAS THE BEST SECTIONALS BUT 3 HAS THE BETTER CLOSING SECTIONAL. TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE JOCKEY CLAIM 5 ONLY HAS A HANDICAP ADVANTAGE OF 0.1. FOR FCT PLAY 3#5-2 AND TIERCE PLAY 3/2-5/FIELD AND 5-2/3/FIELD N SKIP THE QUARTET UNLESS U HAVE A BIG BUDGET BUT COVER ONLY ON 3 TO WIN

STARSTATZ RACING LATE MAIL SERVICE 09 DEC 2011

iN RACE 5 I SUGGEST A BIG BET ON 1. I WILL RECOMMEND A TIERCE ON 1#4-6-8-10/FIELD FOR TIERCE AND 1#4-6-8-10/4-6-8-10/FIELD FOR QUARTET AND SEE WHETHER WE CAN RECOVER OUR LOSSES IN EARLIER RACES ON FRCT/PFT. bIG BET ON FCT/PFT ON 1#4-6-8-10...FORECASRT DIVIDENDS SHOULD BE HIGH!

STARSTATZ RACING LATE MAIL SERVICE 09 DEC 2011

RACE 4 ...MEDIUM BET ON 4 WITH BIG DROP IN BODYWEIGHT AND RUNNING AT FORTE DISTANCE FOR 1ST TIME...GOOD EXAMPLE OF WHAT LATE MAIL SERVICE SHOULD BE ABOUT...FORCAST WITH 9...ADD 2-3-5-6 FOR TIERCE

starstatz racing 09 december 2011 experiment with late mail service

My 1st try flopped badly with a 3rd and 4th. This is done on an experimental basis. I have not done the handicap except for Race 6 and race 9 today. The scores today shall not count in the strike rate challenge. The result would be better with a paddock assessment condition report and full handicap analysis. I am experimenting with a new handicap tool feature today and see how it works out....so be cautious.

RACE 3 PLAY MEDIUM BET ON 3 AND SMALL FORECAST WITH 8

starstatz racing experiment on late mail service 09 Dec

this is done with no paddock form assessment. In race 2 Dutch betting recommended..1st pick is 10 to win and smaller cover bet...Dutch betting on 2...forecast place fct bet recommeended

My selections today are :- R1 medium 2-3/7-9-11-6-8 R2 Small 5-2-4-1-6 .....can cover 2 R3 medium 3-1 -8-11/ 1-9-10-2 can cover 1....R4 big 12-11-8/3-2-5-10. R5 medium 7-11-12-8/1-9-6 longshot of the day R6 medium 1-2-4-12/8-3-7 value bet of the day. R7 BIG 5-9/ 7-6-8-4-1 must cover 9 small bet R8 small 11-7-9-12-1-3-5.....can cover 7 small bet. R9 BIG 2-5-6-1/4-3-7 R10 BIG 2/4-9-11-10-5-7 best bet of the day.... I suggest using one or 2 bankers Ie. the top 2 choices and use the remaining horses on the 2nd, 3rd n 4th lines

02 December 2011

starstatz Racing 02 December 2011

My selections today are very well researched making good use if sectional times.my selections are R 1.....small 8-5-9-1/3-12-7 strong Har with best in form SF. R 2 .....BIG 8/9-5-3-7-2 lone front runner advantage. R3 BIG 8-6-1/5-4-9-3 best longshot of the night with best sectionals ... A full second better than rivals in closing 400m sect times... Must cover 6 as .very slow pace with weak one pacer 5 taking the lead... 6 should take the box seat behind 5.... Best value fct of the night n add pft too. If have good budget try 8-6/8-6/field .... Based on HR /SF / sect times both should give classy 1 a good fight n the weight difference should work in favor of 8 n 6. R4 medium 5-6/2-1-7-4.... 5 n 6 should have the race between themselves .... Good fct.... ..6 has better HR n lost to useful Magic DIva in race 3 . If Magic confirms the form by winning or running 2nd I would suggest you cover token bet on 6. R5 small ... Open race 2-5-8-9-7-3-1 very slow pace with 8 the lone front runner... Look for on pace runners to do well or take a coffee break. R6 medium 5-6/ 1-3-7-2 must cover 6 who is underrated. Good to fast pace will suit 5 better. Interesting fact 5's sectional times over 1200m are better than 6 over 1100m.... Value bet. R7 small .... Most open race of the night... Time to visit the loo...4-2-5-8-7-9-11 ... Interesting battle between 4 who has good HR n favourite 5 who has best SF . With the fast pace set by 5 front runners off pace runners like 4 n 2 will do well at value.... Favorite not likely to win but place R8 big 4-1-5/ 3-7-10-9 note slight change in order for minor placings ... Late news of danger from classy 5 who had a blocked run in Gold Cup ... Suggest big fct/pft on 4#1-5 Race 9 big bet ....shoo-in bet of the night..... Best SF n sect time with clean cut genuine lovers of horse racing.... Same connections as Super Easy .....play win bet only n safe fct on 2#6 ......2///6 -9 1-5 -8-10. try tierce 2/6/ field or 5 selections n cover with 2/field or 5 selections. Try multiple tickets on 2/6/ 5 selections . In all it shud be a high scoring night for win place for races tagged medium or big n exotics using 1st choice only as bankers or using top 2 n box the top 6 on remaining lines. Good Luck!!!$$$$$

STARSTATZ RACING 20 NOVEMBER 2011

BREAKING NEWS!!! STARSTATZ RACING scores with its longshot of the day with its best priced winner of the season. It shades Racing Guide's tip on Northern Land which paid $71/$18 with a personal best price of $82/$19 in Race 6 with the tip on Shiny Lion ridden by the unfashionable journey man apprentice jockey Anandan and I
have to use both blogs to drum interesting news about each other unlike the old days when Track Talk used to carry top performance News by Media Publications when the old publication Insiders111 had an outstanding day with 5 good priced winners and a lone favourite from a card of 10 races.

This is the 1st time I've had the opportunity to use sectional in all the races with the exception of Race 2...let's see if it translates into a higher strike rate. The race tagged big and medium are good plays today...The direct forecast using the top 2 and sometimes using the 1st choice and rub with 2nd and 3rd choices will be a good play today as most field are a tussle between 2 or 3 horses at most! Today should also see one of the new apprentices breaking the duck with a breakthrough win today!

My selections are :-

RACE 1 SMALL...10-6-9-1-12-5

RACE 2 MEDIUM... 4-10-9-6-8-7...MUST COVER A SMALLER BET ON 10...good Forecast on 4-and 10

RACE 3 MEDIUM ....1-6-3-7-9-2-10 ....VALUE BET OF THE DAY WITH BEST SECTIONAL TIMES...BUT APPRENTICE JOCKEY IS WINLESS SO FAR...CAN COVER SMALL BET ON 1-6 AND SMALLER ON 1#6-3...

RACE 4 BIG... 4-6-12-9-3-5-10....SMALL FORECAST ON 4-6...4 HAS BEST SECTIONALS IN THIS RACE

RACE 5 BIG...3-4-1-8-10-7-6...3 HAS A SUPERIOR SECTIONAL TIME COMPARED TO 4...CAN FORECAST 3#4-1

RACE 6 MEDIUM 8-2-1-7-6-10-5...DUTCH BETTING HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ON 8 AND 2 ...FORECAST ON 8#2 WILL BE A GOOD PLAY IN THIS RACE

RACE 7 MEDIUM...6-7-9-2-5-3-1...BEST WILD LONGSHOT OF THE DAY WITH STRONGER CHANCES IF THE TRACK CHANGES TO YIELDING...MUST COBER SMALL TO MEDIUM BET ON 7...IF THERE IS NO BETTING SUPPORT ON 6 JUST PLAY 7 EACH WAY

RACE 8 SMALL...3-6-9-2-4-7-11

RACE 9 BIG.......10-7-9-1-6-8-5...NOTE SLIGHT CHANGE IN NBRS FROM SINGAPORE NAP AS I INADVERTANTLY LEFT OUT 6...BEST BET OF THE NIGHT ....GOOD VALUE FORECAST BET ON 10#7-9...BUT INCLUDE 7-9-1 ON THE 2ND LINE FOR ALL EXOTIC BETS

RACE 10...BIG 2-7-6-3-1-5-8...2 HAS BEST SECTIONAL TIMES DESPITE BEING HELD UP FOR A RUN AND HE WILL HAVE VALUE EVEN IF HE ENDS UP AS FIRST FAVOURITE AS HE SPPED FIGURS DO NOT LOOK IMPRESSIVE BUT THE BEST SECTIONALS INDICATES THAT HE IS A PROMISING TYPE AND PROBABLY THE BEST CLASS HORSE IN THIS FIELD...FORECAST WITH 7 AND TOKEN COVER ON 7 IF TRACK IS YIELDING.

THE EXOTICS SHOULD BE A GOOD PLAY USING THE FORECAST RECOMMENDED HORSES AS KEY HORSES ON THE 2ND LINE...COVER THE 2ND HORSE ON THE 1ST LINE FOR THE RACES TAGGED MEDIUM BET...SKIP THE EXOTICS FOR THE RACES TAGGED SMALL

with the changing track conditions I have decided to focus all my chi on wet track speicialist Testa Rossa to sprout wings with his progeny doing well despite not having the best handicap for their races. In Race 5 I have switched allegiance to Just A Man but he should still give Macau a good run for his money and make the direct forecast. My work today has been thorough with last minute adjustments for the yielding track conditions.

These are my selections;-

RACE 1 MEDIUM...4-3-9-2-5-8-6

RACE 2 MEDIUM ...9-1-3-6-2-5-4...NBR 9 IS BY SIRE TESTA ROSSA

RACE 3 SMALL...2-4-6-5-7-1-3...TOKEN COVER ON 4 ...BEST YIELDING SPECIALIST

RACE 4 BIG...12-1-10-2-13-6-8...2ND BEST BET OF THE NIGHT...AWT SIRE AND BY KENTUCKY DERBY WINNER FUSAICHI PEGASUS

RACE 5 MEDIUM...4-6-7-3-2...TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE SCRATCHING OF ONE FRONT RUNNER MAKING THE PACE VERY SLOW...CHANGE FROM SINGAPORE NAP...SIRE OF 4 IS BY MUDLARK SWIMMER TESTA ROSSA . 6 BY ZABEEL STOCK IS ALMOST AS ADEPT ON WET TRACKS...BUT 6 HORSE RACE MAKES IT A SMALL/MEDIUM PROPOSITION..SUGGEST CHANGE IN FORECAST PLAY TO 4#6-7 MULTIPLE TICKETS BIG BET

RACE 6 SMALL...6-9-5-14-7-3-11...LONGSHOT OF THE NIGHT...6 HAS STAYING BLOOD ON DAM SIDE BUT MILER-1800M BLOODLINES THROUGH SIRE...9 SEEMS OUT OF FORM BUT IS BY GRANDSIRE ZABEEL STOCK AND COULD SURPRISE AT ODDS

RACE 7 MEDIUM...3-5-1-4-2-6-7...MUST COVER 5...AS HIS HR/SF/SECTIONAL TIMES ARE SUPERIOR TO 3 BUT 3 IS BY SWIMMER TESTA ROSSA.

RACE 8 BIG---8-7-9-1-2-5...BEST BET OF THE NIGHT ...BEST HANDICAP ...BEST SF...WILL SUIT TURF CONDITIONS AND YIELDING TRACK AS SIRE THORN PARK IS A TURF SPECIALIST AND NOTED MUDLARK AS WELL!

RACE 9 BIG 3-1-5-7-10-8-2...MUST COVER 1 BUT LESS...3 IS PROVEN ON YIELDING WHEN HE LOST BY A NOSE TO WINONTOP AND SHOULD SHADE 1 AR THE FINISH...5 AND 7 ARE PROVEN OLD TIMERS ON YIELDING TRACKS AND AND HAVE FAVOURABLE HANDICAP WHILE 3 AND 1 ARE PROMISING CLASS HORSES WORKING THROUGH THE GRADES TO AT LEAST CLASS 2

THE CHANGING TRACK CONDITIONS SHOULD GIVE ME A SLIGHT EDGE TO DO WELL TODAY

For latest strike rate challenge tally details check out my other blog at 7naps.com where you can get additional information on good horseracing tips from HKG as well. However the top 4 in order of strike rate percentages are Singapore Nap with 32.97% , 2nd is Andrew Frost with 30.13% Tan Thean Loon with 29.78 % and Starstaz Racing is a distant 4th with 29.11%.

Today should be an easier day to select winners and I do expect Moreira to strike more than his quota of winners with a red letter day and making the headlines on Monday News as he has a solid book of strong rides with excellent winning chances. watch Duric and Stewart also as they strike before leaving our shores. I hope to close the gap on the top 3 with Moreira providing a solid base for my attack on the top trio. wATCH FOR DANGER POSED FROM MY 2ND SELECTION WHEN I SUGGEST A COVER BET!

My selections today are:-

RACE 1 TRAVERTINE ....MEDIUM...1-5-3-4-9-6-8....CONSIDER SMALL COVER ON 5...1 IS CLASSIEST HORSE IN THE FIELD BUT 5 IS ALSO AN IMPROVING TYPE .5 FRONT RUNNERS MAKING IT A FAST PACE RACE BUT HE WILL GET THE BOX SEAT AS HE IS DRAWN FOR A RAILS RUN

RACE 2 XIN TREASURE ...SMALL...13-14-2-6-10-1-3...GO SLOW AS TOO MANY UNKNOWN FACTORS

RACE 3 SELIGI....MEDIUM/BIG... 1-3-8-4-2-9-6..GROUP3 WINNER IN SOUTH AFRICA AT THIS DISTANCE AND IN GOOD FORM DESPITE 16 WINLESS RUNS SINCE HE LANDED...UNDERCLASSED IN THIS WEAK FIELD ...VALUE BET...SLOW PACE WILL SUIT HIS FRONT RUNNING STYLE AND HE WILL GET THE COVETED RAILS RUN EASILY.

RACE 5 RED BEARD...MEDIUM...4-6-1-3-10-5-9..CONSIDER SMALL COVER BET ON 6....5 FRONT RUNNERS WILL MAKE IT A FST PACE RACE AND WILL SUIT HIS ON PACE STYLE

RACE 6 JOYFUL HEART...MEDIUM/BIG(UPGRADE TO BIG BET IF UP FOR THE DAY)...4-9-8-7-2-1-6...VERY SLOW PACE WITH LONE FRONT RUNNER WILL SUIT AS HE WILL JUMP 2ND IN THIS FIELD

RACE 7 RUSH....MEDIUM...6-3-1-8-5-7..FAST PACE WITH 4 FRONT RUNNERS WILL SUIT HIS ON PACE STYLE AS HE SITS IN THE BOX SEAT BEHIND THE PACE.

RACE 8 CASH LUCK ...BIG...8-6-3-7-4-2...T CLASSY TYPE IN THIS FIELD...EXPECTED SLOW PACE WITH 2 FRONT RUNNER WILL SUIT HIS ON PACE STYLE AS HE STALKS THEM

RACE 9 TRUDEAU ...MEDIUM/BIG 10-7-8-5-9-3-4... SLOW PACE WILL SUIT HIS ON PACE STYLE...MUST COVER 7

RACE 10 BLACK JACK MEDIUM ...1-4-10-6-2-5-7....VERY SLOW/SLOW PACE WITH LONE FRONT RUNNER AND HIS ON PACE STYLE IN THE LEADING BUNCH WILL HELP....COVER 4

RACE 11 MARTIAL ART...MEDIUM...11-9-5/4-10-6-8...MUST COVER 9 EQUALLY AS PACE EXPECTED TO BE SLOW AND 9 IS ONE OF 2 FRONT RUNNERS.FOR DETAILS CHECK OUT BLOG ON 7NAPS.COM....SOLID 2200-2400m STAYING CREDENTIALS ON BOTH SIDES OF BLOODLINE INCLUDING DAM IS FULL SISTER TO GROUP 1 WINNER FAIRY HEIGHTS...BEST VALUE BET AS 9 WILL THE HOT FAVOURITE...SUGGEST FCT/PFT ON 11-9-5 BOX

After a one week hiatus I am back but still holding on tenaciously to 4th spot in the strike rate challenge with 114 wins from 386 selections for a 29.53% rate of success. To break into the top 3 I have to break the 30% barrier and I have chosen to so with only 3 market favourites in Nandowra, Dr Grigoros and Davide.....I expect most favourites to fail today and I expect Jose Moreira to put in his quota of winners but not from the usual favourites and I do expect his winning rides today to offer some value. My selections today are :- RACE 1. Small 10-5-1-6. RACE 2. Small 11-1-5-12. RACE 3. Medium 1-6-5-3. RACE 4 BIG 7-8-3-9. RACE 5. Small 8-9-3-1. RACE 6. Medium big 1-2-3-4. RACE 7. Starstatz Racing is taking the weekend off due to work commitments.

I may have been late in posting my singapore nap blog so I shall replicate it here and it shall count in my tally for the strike rate challenge.

RACE 6 - CLASS 3
1600M POLYTRACK
STAKES $75,000

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The tally for last wek was not up to date but was for last Friday. The tally is now Singapore Nap 1st in strike rate challenge with 29 wins/
/25 placings from 84 selections fro a % of 34.52% and Frosty is on 2nd with 244 wins from 787 selections for a 5 of 31%. Tan Thean Loon is in 3rd with 235 wins
from 787 selectioms for a % of 29.86% and Starstatz Racing is in 4th for a % of 29.33% from a tally of 110 wins from 375 selections

There willl be no posting on starstaracing for this week due to work commitments

PREVIEW OF RACE

My selections in order are 3-6-7-5-4-8-1-2. (EVERY HORSE IF BODY WEIGHT INCLUDING 2 (LESS EXPERIENCE OVER THIS DISTANCE)
are capable of being in top 4 and the winner may be a previously seemingly overweight horse who comes down in weight and surprises. That is why I am advocating a weigh-in before
or even the good tipsters might be caught by surprise.. I suggest a small bet as this is a wide open race but I fancy Lockdown will not do well for this week(PLEASE IGNORE THIS REMARK DUE LATE MAIL TRACK INFORMATION)....Late mail additional information not available on official Singapore Nap....suggest Dutch betting and do serious cover bet on Lockdown so I suggest to upgrade 1 to joint 1st spot for 1st line joint banker and do forecast strongly on 1#3 and cover smaller amount on 3#1-6 AND 1#3-6.

With a deluge of rainfall and the absence of a calculator or "magic powder(Moreira is on a Brazil holiday) I believe the average Media Tipster will be hard pressed to score 3 wins tonight and I expect the top performer to have 4 wins and it would be sufficient to top the charts. Front runners and on pace runners will have a distinct double advantage in slow paced races.i suggest to play cautiously and until you are ahead and increase your betting in the 2nd half of the Race Card in the races marked "BIG"

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Top Media Tipster Honours form for 02 Octobber go to the normal battler and current wooden spoonist Meng Yew of Wan Bao with 7 wins including
a value bet on Tarankali ($53/$17) . Unlike the wooden spoonists of previous seasons I have a healthy respect for the battlers this season as they are specialists in
tipping value bets and longshots. On the current format it is by no means certain that Meng Yew will remain where he is and is involved in a 3 way dogfight
(refers to glorious air battles and has nothing to do with dogs!).There are only 4 points separating MengYew Jun Ru of Wan Bao and Winner21.However if we
include all the racing journalists from Victory Trail, the journalists on the STC website and the 2 Guys from the Straits Times advertorials I believe the
wooden spoon will either of these 3 . Its about time STC (a neutral party) should take charge of tallying this challenge and all internet/Media Tipsters inder strict
stipulated guidelines and conditions should be included. If journalists are not proud of their work how will there be improvements? We have seen 1st hand how the Straits
Times have improved from poor in the 1st half of this year to table topping perfomances in the 3rd quarter. I hope STC takes my cue and adopts the compilation of scores from next season!

Apologies are in order for Craig Brennan who posted the article on Clear For Action. With hindsight and no previous significant Handicap advantage and Speed Figures
Clear For Action almost put egg on my faces with a sterling performances which can be attrributed to his yearling price and the addition of blinkers.Luckily my pick
Better Than Ever saved me from total humiliation by beating(the barrier draw helped my cause as well) Clear For Action!
Apologies are also in order for Brian Miller whom I had earlier commented as a utility player ie journalist for the Newpaper as a benchwarmer. He has since beaten me on some race days and we actulally went toe -to-toe with Meng Yew for top Media Tipster honours for the day. In the end Meng Yew finished with a flourish and both of us had to settle for 2nd place with 6 wins each form 12 races (50% strike rate). Earlier in the season when I posted my comments I was basing it on the premise that Brian's knowledge of horse racing was at the level when we 1st met during the time when Yonex was the sponsor for the Singapore Badmintom Open. I must admit with hindsight that Brian though not in the top 3 is still holding his own with a credible performance in the 20-25% range must have improved with experience and the reading of books over the years.

Singapore Nap is still in the lead in the strike rate challenge with 33.75% (27 wins/23 placings from 80 selections. Andrew Frost is in 2nd with 235 wins from a maximum
of 755 races and Thean Loon is on 29.93%(226 wins). Startstaz Racing is in 4th with 9.15%(100 from 343 selections).Racing Guide and Winner21 sms
are in joint 5th with 29.14%(220 wins), In 7th is Hui Liang with 28.61%(216 wins) and Punters Way with 27.95% (211 wins).Xiu Fang is in 9th with 27.55%(208 wins)
and Larry Foley makes the top ten with 26.89% (203 wins).

I will be posting on starstatzracing on race day as I try to close the gap on Andrew with the use of the new Trackus sectional times!

PREVIEW OF RACE

With the posting by Michael Lee and Craig Brennan it would seem that this race is a 4 horse race between 2 Group 3 winners comiong back versus 2 seasoned 1100M
polytracj campaigners. They could be right but I would recommend to take a calculated risk between putting your faith ion Freedman's confidence in Dictator against 2 Group 3
horses running 1st up after a break of 82 days for 1 and 216 days for 4.I would take 5 and 3 to beat 1 and 4 despite the postings. In the reports 1 has been reportedly having dry
coat problems despite winning his trials. Although 4 has won at this distance overseas I rate him more as a 1400M/1600M type. Anyway I do fancy 1 to do better than 4 in this race.
I will not rule out 1 or 4 to win this race but I suspect thety will end up tryinh to keep the top 4 spots but I suspect 7 will edge both of them with 5 or 3beating this lot
judging from the confidence eminating from the Freedman Camp on the winning chances of Dictator.

The pace will be good to fast with 1 and 4 matching strides to contest the rails run with 4-7-3 stalking them till the home stretch. 2 and 6 will bring up the rear. While 1 and 4 have a track record of doing well 1st up I expect 5 with the 2nd best handicap after 7 and the best sectionals will swamp this field if fighting in earnest. If not and also if the pace is hot
then 3 will flash home brilliantly in the last 50M.The figurs are there for 5 to win this race but I advise caution as theis is Beasley's 1st ride on the horse and I would suggest an equal
cover bet on 3 in casr 5 is taking a day off!. I would rate 1 and 4 as place chances but with good recent form i expect 7 to edge both of them with 1 edging 4 for the last scrap in 4th spot!

IN ORDER MY SELECTIONS ARE 5-3/7-1///4-2.i SUGGEST A BIG BET ON 5#3-7 FOR FORECAST/PLACE FORECAST AND USING THEM AS KEY HORSES ION THE 2ND LINE WITH THE REMAINING CHOICES ON THE 3RD AND 4TH LINES IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET. iF NOT i SUGGEST USIN4 AND 3 AS BANKER ON THE 1ST LINE.

STARSTATZ RACING 02 OCTOBER 2011

For today I shall give up my Fund Manager Trial Application which was very successful and if launched in reality I passed the test with flying colours by avoiding the winner in almost all((all if you downgrade the fat and overweight Alacarte who was clearly not in the market with the 3rd pick Paulinho being upgraded as I did stipulate that he must drop by approximately 5kg which did not happen))the races . Despite officially putting only putting 3 wins on the board I covered the winners on the exotics with stipulated Dutch betting in most of the races. A detailed post performance analysis is featured in my Singapore Nap posting which may not happen for today as I had missed the posting deadline but I shall keep my fingers crossed. In the event of no posting the score will not count on Singapore Nap but I shall take the outcome...whatever the result in my strike rate challenge which has no dateline as long as it is posted before the race starts as anybody can be wise after the event.

I was fascinated by the comments and impressive work of Matthew Jones whom I rate very well for his diction and well researched comments even though he may not be a top rated tipster but he acquits himself creditably with value picks. His presentation and commentaries are like a breath of fresh air well respected in the racing fraternity , forums and racing circles. I particularly echo his comments on Track Talk regarding "we don't have many mare races...we should have more.

I wonder what happen to my First Love...Lady Archer owned by Malcolm Thwaites and my girlfriend asked me "how come there is only one white horse (we did place a win bet on her)running? She romped home by more than lengths (closer to 20 lengths if my memory is correct. My next fond association with the opposite sex was a Group 1 wiinning filly called Zirna by Deputy Governor/Riverly Lass who produced foals by Danzero and Starcraft whose offspring Crafty Irna(by Starcraft) has gone on to win a Group 3 blacktype stakes race. With the path trodden by Streisand now called Torch (more to come from the useful progeny Clint) and our famous duo of Jolies' Shinju and Mexican Rose STC should plan ahead next season to create a artificial high class breeding industry although we lack the fields and meadows of Australia and New Zealand. Through the direct or shared ownership of these fillies we can have the chance to produce and own future Champions and Crafty Irna has proven that local dreams can come through. Besides having more fillies and mares races we could provide more incentives for mares owned by STC owners and give them special homebred(in a sense of local owned) races and bonuses for winning races to encourage this new direction to greater heights as owners take direct control of the breeding process instead of just buying from ready to run sales....who knows we could find our next Rocket Man!

I read wth trepidation Craig Brennan's tip on Better Than Ever in today's Panasonic Kranji Mile. Let's hope my fears are not justified and it is just Laxon's payback tip for the debacle interview on Ace Aliado who I believe may win a race (given time and with distant hopes)but will never reach his true potential before he broke down.
As my reaction to the ST advertorials my late mail advice is to do Dutch betting and cover an equal amount on Speed Baby...just in case my fears materialise! If it rains at Kranji do bet more on Speed Baby

Today's races are more difficult compared to last Friday but there are gems to be collected especially in the latter half of the card and Moreira particularly should outdo (or at least equal ) his haul on Friday. Do be cautious and bet seriously on races tagged medium or big. I believe most Media Tipsters including myself will struggle to hit 4 or 5 winners so procced with caution and let's hope Moreira delivers as well as our local Champion in Japan!

For today I shall abandon the Bagman/fund Manager perspective but as a bonus for my loyal fans I shall provide more than the standard 4 selections for exotic bet aficiandos(use the 1st 4 for direct comparison with other local media Tipsters). For exotic bets do a single banker unless I tag the race as Dutch betting. If this is so then use the 1st 2 picks as banker on the 1st line and drop the 7th pick in your exotics>

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

With Media Tipsters like Tan Thean Loon who hit 7 winners on Friday(almost broke my joint record if Kaiser had won.) and the ultra consistent Andrew Frost it is time we
have a media tipster and even a jockey challenge (similar to HKG).

What we don't need is the saga of Don't Tell The Wife and The Tall Tale on "Tell A Tale, the irrerevant and disrespectful posting on Clear For Action to do well
in the Panasonic Kranji Mile. Even the owner will probably waste more than $10($5 win/$5 place which some owners do as a habit when their horse run) on the tote. With his ratings difference of 44 points I will be surprised if Clear For Action makes any impact on the 4 Quartet positions much less in winning the race. As the Track Talk boys have commented that despite being a promising type his time will be next year as he rises through the classes. The Straits Times advertorials have compounded their ill -planned postings by writing a non-commital post on Friday without clearly defining their top 4 choices in order. I quote Andrew Frost who said on Track Talk on Wednesday night...."that's what we are paid
for...to have an opinion" I will add...If you can't take the heat and have an opinion go and take a holiday and reassess your posture on postings. I am glad to report after a slight delay(at what time I felt STC was indifferent to my complaint on Don't Tell The Wife) that STC have positively responded and have assured me that they will review the performances of the writers in the Straits Times advertorial team and see if there is an improvement starting from next week onwards. I hope they have better luck in selecting the winning horse for the Straits Times advertorials. Perhaps the gu.ys should consult a fengshui expert as in the past one of them picks a winner but the losing horse gets picked for the bold headlines. While on these tack on improvements I suggest advertising support be given to tutorials on how to make use of the Trackus system and the employment of sectional times as a handicapping tool. On the subject of improvements the welfare of th
we racegoer should take precedent over horse Owners and Trainers who have a weak excuse in not supporting the implementation of pre-race day weighing in of horses. A jockey and a Media Tipster Challenge(hope I am invited ) will be an added bonus while we are on the subject of further improvements

My experioment on Starstaz Racing on my application to be a Fund Manager for an overseas centre in Hong Kong or Australia was an official success and I was able within the 1st 2 picks (Idid recommend Dutch betting in most races) to score on 9 out of 10 races. I had a condition on my 2nd pick in Race 7 that the body weight of Alacarte must drop approximately 5 kg(he dropped by only 2kg and the tote of $100 plus was an indication that the smart money was not on . On race day as a late mail selection I upgraded Paulinho to 2nd choice as a consequence. If the bodyweight was known before selection I would have had a perfect score as a bagman. On the investment side I matched Tan Thean Loon's performance in a different manner. I believe that besides Mr X (I take my hat off to applaud his company and his feat in having to tip the apprentice claimer J Farrok whom I had explained in my big bet advice that he had the experience of bringing in 19 winners in Singapore, South Africa and Australia with the winning ride on Good Boss who paid $57/$9 which is my record longshot for this year. I must thank the teacher in my remedial class for highlighting this tip and myself and Mr X for the courage in tipping this winner in Race 3In my post on Starstaz racing I had suggested Dutch betting in most races and I achieved a direct forecast hit in races 1,3,4,5,7(if allowed to drop overweight Alacarte),9. I also managed to hit the tierces using 2 bankers as I have suggested in Races 1,2,3,4,5,7,9 and 10. The quartet was achieved in Races 1 ,2 3,4, 5, 7 and 9. I concede that some races were losing proposittions with the top 2 favourites coming in 1st and 2nd but the returns Despite only scoring 3 wins , I was a winner (despite losing money on some tierce/quartet payouts) with the higlhight being the forecast of $18 ,tierce of $142 and the quartet of $1184 in Race 3 and the forecast of $14 , tierce of $230 and quartet iof $756 in Race 4.
Tipping feats like Tan Thean Loon's and my feats should be highlighted to show that on a good day racing investments can pay good returns. As a bonus for Staartstaz Racing I
PROVIDED THE DIRECT FORECAST/TIERCE AND QUARTET IN RACE 9 which paid $5, $19 and $94(not bad for $2 investments or even if you box the quartet for $24).

I shall skip the strike rate tally till next week but I can confirm that Singapore Nap is still in the lead with 26 wins/23 placings from 78 selections for a 33.33% I shall endevour to score above this figure by the end of the season.!

PREVIEW OF RACE 4
Not without good reasons our local champion is currently rated the 2nd best sprinter in the World to the coy stay at home Black Caviar. His running style strength and barrier draw will be suited to his on pace running style where he will stalk the leaders. His closest rated rival is actually at a disadvantage despite being drawn in barrier 1.In order my selections are 5-1-8-10-14-6-16. I suggest use 5 as a lone banker with confidence and all the remaining horses in the remaining lines but use 1-8-10 as key horses on the 2nd line if you are on a budget. The only negative is the cold weather but I believe Shaw has made him accustomed to the cold weather and the lack of home ground advantage is compensated by the experience of jockey Coetzee.

PREVIEW OF RACE 10

The media sentiment has fallen on Speed Baby and I will not discount his winning chances but the wide barrier draw has dampened his chances and Clear For Action
will not feature in the top 4 of any decent media tipster worth his salt!
I do not doubt the track reports that Better Than Ever is not the horse he was before he went to Dubai in March this year. I discount his last run when he trouble wide
out throughout and to compound the matter Iheard a rumour that the Owner connections were not even in town(perhaps a busy work schedule) and a neck loss to hot favourite Speed Baby is compensated(1.5 Lengths disadvantage for Speed Baby) by an advantageous draw for BTTE. The way I see it I am willing to take my chances especially if BTTE gives up the favourite tag. I am counting on a few conditions to prevail before i put a medioum bet on BTTE.The weather forecast is showers with thunder but my weatherman gave me a tip that the heavy rainfall will be in Jurong and hopefully give Kranji a miss. I have a tip for those in the Owners stand...look out for the Big Boss of Jupiter Stables to confirm that BTTE will giive it his best shot(actually a big slice of the $500,000 pie is reason enough incenmtive for Saimee and BTTE to keep their minds on the job. I have another pre-race condition ...if it does not rain and Sen or Laxon does not get interviewed (brings bad luck)you can upgrade BTTE to a medium bet.(upgrade to big bet if Speed Baby is odds on ).
favourite). I do not base my pick on whimsical theories but through the checking of previous lead up track wouts Laxon has a habit of sending him on a fast gallop in the early
part of this week and he duly obliged with a 34.5 barrier trial. If it rains at Kranji then I suggest to stick with a small bet on BTTE or switch to Speed Baby or consider a one win/multiple placing modest bet on Always Certain
On the case for Speed Baby his AUS $280K price tag and his finishing burst in losing to stablemate has convionced all his fans he will thereabouts at the finish line. If there is a weakness in Speed Baby's credentials his sectionals are not impressive(the rason could be that the track though rated good had some rain water which made it close to yielding).
On the other hand Always Certain with his good barrier draw and his improving sectionals from doing 48.64 over 1600M in September 2010 to 48.21 over 1800M in July 2011
as an improving 5YO might be the dark horse and surprise to either win or take the 2nd forecast spot. Most of the Media Tipsters have leftt Captain Obvious out of the top 4
and obviously(pardon the pun) I don't blame them as he looked like he was weakening rapidly as Speed Baby closed in on him. However through bloodstock
analysis on the deceased Sire Verglas who produced Group1 progeny I reckon a bit of distance workouts will see his stamina genes come to the fore although his dam is
by sprinting blood. I believe he will not lead like his last run but will have a more relaxed run and Burridge will want him to accompany Speed Banby in the Top 4.

In order my selections are 2-4-6-1-5-3-9. If you do not like any of my top 7 numbers replace him with number 8 Clint but stick to the top 9 and leave out all the big numbers(especially 13 which for this race will be unlucky for most.). I suggest a big bet on forecast / place forecast on 2#4 and a smaller enlarged bet on 2-4#2-4-6 and include 1 if his dividends are high. by doing 2-4#2-4-6-1. Go slow on tierce /quartet and bet token bets only but a 4 horse box on my top 4 for the qaurtet for a budget of $48 is a good alternative or a cheaper alternative use 2-4 as bankers and use 2-4-6-1 on the remaining lines for a $24 outlay.

As a reward for my loyal fans for today only I shall be providing more than 4 horses(for direct comparison with other tipsters please use the 1st 4 picks) to help them strike the tierces/quartets. As an added bonus the 1st 2 picks will be meant as a reference comparison in my application to be a fund manager in an overseas centre in HKG or Australia. It means I will avoid eating the 1st horse and eat less on the 2nd horse in such a way that should the 2nd horse win I will still be smiling and balance the books in such a way that the value of the other dead horses will fund the payout to my 2nd pick. If my 1st pick comes in I will reap handsome rewards by eating the rest of the horses!.In open races i will declare eat all ie I will recommend to collect tickets on every horse but less on the 1st 2 picks. I will not adopt the "BAGMAN" feature every week but add it in as a feature when I see fit. Neither will the more than 4 horses list appear every week but fans can subscribe to the average 7 horse list by sending an email to insiders111@yahoo.com.sg. The 7 horses are not meant for you to box all 7 horses but to use the 1st pick(unless I recommend Dutch betting...then use 2 bankers but in doing so I will drop the 7th pick and use 2/6/6/6 for the quartet and the 1st 3 lines for the tierce.Of course if you do not have the budget you do not have to use all the 7 horses but drop the last few as they are given in order of merit. For Quadro play I suggest this combination for $24...3/3/6/6 .

I have yet to receive a reply from STC regarding my complaint on the "Dont Tell The Wife " posting in the Straits Times. To compound the matter they have added Tell A Tale as a Gold Cup preparation highlight but no searching qustions were asked regarding stablemate Flying Fulton's chances on the same day both horses were running in the same race.

I am bemused by the posting on thursday 29 September in the Straits Times advertorials on on hoper Clear For Action for Sunday's Panasonic Kranji Mile.At CR 74 he is clearly outclassed by a chasm of 44 points or 22kg in handicap but being a 4YO he gets a 0.5kg reprieve. I wonder who picks the interview ...the Trainer or the journalist? The Trainer would gladly wax lyrical about the hopeful chances of the horse with scope for improvement after some gear change but in the same breath tells you he is facing formidable opponents....this double talk only serves to confuse the unsuspecting horse racing enthusisast who is not experience enough to know he is being sold a "red herring" . i state clearly at the risk of getting egg on the face with bold statement. Clear For Action hasn't a ghost of making the top4 Quartet spots much less in winning the race. Imagine if this was to be an ordinary handicap race the horse will be carrying 36.5kg if there were to be no 50kg minimum weight limit. So caveat emptor for the poor Straits Times readers who were swayed by the article to consider putting a bet on longshot'Clear For Action" Although for Last Friday Ace Aliado was one of the respectable choice I did not buy into Laxon's comments when he sung like a canary and the public promptly acted on it and made Ace Aliado 3nd favourite and like a wild goose to the slaughter he promptly ran last to justify his 'red herring " tag. It is a indeed a strange phenomenon and co-incidence that of late these featured "red herrings" actually ran dead last(namely Don't Tell the Wife, Tell A Tale and Ace Aliado). To be fair Ace Aliado was a repectable choice before the results ere known but even in my late mail posting on 7naps I steadfastly placed Ace Aliado as 5th pick and even stated that Ghozi despite bleeding would fare better than him. If the STC is indifferent to these Mickey Mouse state of affairs why should I even bother to complain when the Club in disinterested in addressing this problem(I believe non action from STC has emboldened them to continue on the merry ways with the recent postings on Tell A tale and Clear For Action). I am sure of one thing despite his humble rating Clear For Action will not run last as he is a sound and young improving horse but don't bet against him being placed in the bottom half of the field....he would have done extremely well if he ran 5th! After all who benefits when this "red herrings" are being trumpeted and highlighted...7naps and starstaz Racing readers of course as I will steer them hopefully towards more winners whose prices will be better as a result of these postings( I will have my fair of misses as well) away from the highlight postings in the Straits Times. I HOPE THE sTRAITS tIMES JOUIRNALISTS CONSULT A FENG SHUI EXPERT AS INEVITABLY BASED ON PAST RECORD ONE OF THEM PICKS THE WINNER BUT BY A STRANGE CO-INCIDENCE THE WINNER IS FEATURED IN SMALL PRINT BELOW WHILE THE NON WINNING HORSE IS FEATURED IN BOLD HEADLINES.lET'S HOPE THEY WILL HAVE A CHANGE OF LUCK IN THE LAST QUARTER OF THIS YEAR.

When I recommend Dutch betting it means That i recommend play on both horses and if you find the longshot too wild I suggest you play my 2nd pick which is likely to be a favourite or top 2 favourite.DUE TO RACE DATELINE i SHALL POST THE LATER RACES AFTER THE START OF RACE 1.These are my picks:-

I have yet to receive a reply from STC regarding my complaint on Craig Brennan's posting om Don't Tell The Wife. Let's see if they respond by end of the month or are they indifferent to mystifying postings which have no relevance to the "winning process. Their lounges everywhere have the winning factor in all their names but The advertorials in the Straits Times have forgotten this important aspect and continue to dawdle on Tell A Tale's preparation for the Gold Cup. On a day when the Committee Prize is being run what is the relevance of Tell A Tale 's Gold Cup preparations when his stablemate Flying Fulton is a strong favourite for the Prize. Even if the Trainer had not mentioned Flying Fulton's chances shouldnt the interviewer ask that question regarding Flying Fulton's chances? Shouldn't that article be done on Gold Cup Day if the journalist thinks highly of Tell A Tale's chances? What is the relevance of Tell A Tale's preparation on the day that the Committee Prize Race is being run...with a big headline(despite comments he is not race ready and needs a run to improve further)on Tell A Tale it might make a reader confused and make him to put a bet on no hoper(no form horse)Tell A Tale before the race starts. Wouldn't my suggested headline "Mike Walker tells a tale on Flying Fulton" have been better? If the writer does not know how to make full use of prime advertorial space to promote the interests of racing as a priority I believe this type of recalcitrant posting should not be encouraged and The STC should rein him in and give the space to some other deserving writer like Andrew Frost , Tan Thean Loon or Larry Foley or even get the pre-eminent Benny Ortega out of retirement( I am sure part-time posting will not endanger his health as he is still fit and full of passion for healthy racing practices. It is STC perogative if it decides to ignore my complaint and let the writer continue without checks. Racing will be the poorer for it but I am sure my readers will benefit when i warn them before the race starts(anybody can be wise after the event)and who knows the dividends will be better when my selection differs from the Straits Times advertorials.

I strongly believe STC should rein in the writers or at least to teach them to ask the Trainers relevant questions and focus on race day towards the winning process even though they may be shoo-in favourites like Rocket Man or Super Easy and make them tip 3 other horses(standard practice in media circles) for the Quartet. Any other articles which are not geared to the winning process should be shelved to non-race days or just be posted on STC website. This is the 2nd time I have pointed out before the start of race(hence with moral authority ) that the Straits Times advertorials are putting a headline(despite content indicating horse is not ready) or a no hoper horse. It is even mopre outrageous when the same Trainer has another runner in the race but nothing positive is written about the chances of the favourite who eventually won! Is this the right way to promote racing? Maybe we should rename the Straits Times advertorials Tall Tales from STC or "Red Herrings Highlight for the day" or "Wild Geese 3 "or my favourite "Highlights on graveyard bets for no hopers" as the track record pre-July seems indicative and the latest posting makes me feel they are petulant and not at all embarrassed in repeat infractions to keep Racing in place as the poorer cousin of Ms Casino.

If STC can't be bothered to improve the direction and performances of it's write up towards the winning process why should I bother. I don't believe in beating and betting) on dead horses so I will leave them in peace and leave them to their indifference. I can only pray that somebody in the corridors of Power acts on it one day when they read my articles and do something about it for the good of Racing.

It is not all gloom and doom at the turf Club and I applaud their efforts to improve racing in other aspects and kudos to those who initiated the Trackus tracking systems so aficianados and passionate fans like me can make better use of sectional times. Racing Guide has announced they will embrace the technology but i do hope they will post the 1st and last 400M as well as the 600M in future. From Punters Way I have yet to hear about their held back innovations that they will implement. Instead of moaning how complex the Court Case versus Racing Guide is that in the final analysis they lost....and justice prevailed and the travesty of the 1st ruling was upheld by the Court of Appeal. I say to Punters Way...no point crying over spilt milk ....move on as they wont get any sympathy from me....use the space to promote racing and start implementing your new innovations or you will left behind and no longer be number....it is easy to be number one but harder to stay on top. Do not rest on your past laurels but continue to innovate and you might keep your coveted top spot! I believe healthy competition will be good for the racing industry and i hope both race books will continue to innovate and help their readers to get more winners and forget about civil suits and put the past behind them

My preparation has not been dilligent but i hope to get by with a heavy dependance on Magic moreira and my trackwatcher. My exotic bet picks will be slightly below par but my 1st picks should deliver. I expect Moreira to go on a scoring spree and deliver a bounty of winners with some minor placings. There are 2 standout bets today in Race 5 and Race 7. If u are ahead in profits upgrade race 2 n 9 to big bets as well. The rain soaked track as well! The rain soaked track will improve the chances of front runners and on pace runners especially in slow pace races.Today's top race is a better play than the Committee Prize on 18th September 2011.For a detailed analysis of race 5 please check out my posting on www.7naps.com under sub-heading of Singapore Nap. If any reader is interested in a late mail service do contact me at insiders111@yahoo.com.sg for further details. My selections today are:- Race 1 medium 8-4-10-7....pace good. There are some gems that are playable today. I have received objective critical (which I accept and acknoledge) feedback that Igive to many tips tagged "BIG" and some of them do flop badly. I shall endeavour to be more judicious this week and tag them as big only If I was willing to put my own money and be selective in which races I choose to play. For the detailed analysis of my 2nd best bet of the day of One More Minute in Race 9 do check out my posting on the international website at www.7naps.com under the flag of Singapore Nap. If you are playing HKG races do check out their selections as they have completed a good season with high return of investments.

Pace will be a vital factor in determining the outcome of today's races especially in Race 3 and Race 7 where the pace will be very fast with 5 front running types. The horses off the pace or drawn inside have fair chances but those drawn outside will find it hard to make an impact in the top3. The other races will be slow or very slow by comparison and the Winners should come from the top half of the field or those leading from the start..

If you have a tight budget I suggest playing in Races 3-5-7-9. If you have a liberal budget include Races 4 and 8. I suggest token betting in the rest of the races or skip entirely for these races.

My selections are :-

RACE 1 SMALL... 12-9-11-7...MUST COVER 9...VALUE BET OF THE DAY...PACE VERY SLOW

RACE 2 SMALL...9-7-1-4...OPEN RACE ...UNKNOWN EXPENSIVE HORSES WITH SEEMININGLY POOR RECENT FORM MAY SURPRISE WITH 7 THE MAIN DANGER...PACE SLOW

RACE 3 BIG...7-5-6-4...PACE VERY FAST

RACE 4 MEDIOUM 3-7-11-6...CAN UPGRADE TO BIG IF UP...PACE SLOW

RACE 5 BIG... 8-7-2-3....BEST BET OF THE NIGHT ...BEST QUARTET.PACE SLOW. 8 IS THE BAS THE BEST HR AND SF FIGURES...SIRE ONLY WON ONLY AT 1100M AND 1200M BUT DISTANCE NOT A PROBLEM AS GRANDSIRE REDOUBTE'S CHOICE IS A MILER....PACE SLOQ

RACE 6 SMALL 6-11-3-12 PACE VERY SLOW

RACE 7 BIG...2-3-6-7....BEST LONGSHOT OF THE NIGHT...CAN COVER 3...I BELIEVE FAVOURITE 5 WILL FLOP OR PLACE AT BEST...BEST VALUE FORECAST OF THE NIGHT
PACE VERY FAST ...WILL SUIT 2 AND 3 WHO COME OFF THE PACE

Here is an extract from my posting on Singapore Nap

Singapore Nap
4 September 2011
Better Than Ever (x2)
Race 9 JUMBO JET TROPHY-SINGAPORE GROUP 3
1400M SHORT COURSE A
STAKES $200,000

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

BREAKING NEWS!!! Singapore Nap edges ahead by a short head from Andrew Frost
in the strike rate challenge with 22 wins/22 placings from 70 selections with a
31.43% strike rate .
Andrew Frost is in 2nd with 202 wins from 658 selections and looks on course to
break Racing Guide's
record of 256 wins last season albeit from less number of races. Even if I do
beat (trust me it won't be easy) Frosty in this challenge
I cannot steal his thunder and glory for his full card campaign for his stellar
consistent performances

throughout the year.
Least I be accused of an unfair advantage by not tipping the full card let me
reiterate the conditions

under which Singapore Nap operates...we are obliged to tip the top class race of
the day and at most 2 races
if they are of the same value.. Unlike the Straits Times advertorials i am not
allowed to tip
any race of the day. If this is the case all I have to do is to pick the Rocket
Man, Better Than Ever and Super Easy

races and I will score above 50% and easily steal the top strike rate honours.
By the fact that the various race books and various publications are rolled out
on different days already

makes the competition an unfair but we make do with the circumstances that we
perform under.
Even Singapore Nap with its early morning race posting suffers in comparison to
Starstatz Racing

which is like its late mail (with superior performanmces) and has access to track
watch reports which
SINgapor eid not privy t0. A fine example is the posting on Singapore Nap which
left out number 1 ...My Son for the top 7

Quartet selections . Despite that I am proud our readers if they had followed
the advice given closely
would have reaped a profit on the win on Clear For Action, the one win loss but
nultiple pacing oin Moon"{s Fairy

(number 10 which paid $18 for a placing we also garnered a $21 forecast and $8
pft with the 4#10-2 suggestion of an

investment of $4 . In addition we scored on the $122 tierce with a
recommendation of 4/10/field and 4/field /10.
The readers of Starstatz Racing enjoyed a better deal after track watch imput
when we selected 4-10-2-1-6 including
5-11. Although we missed the direct quartet we achieved a near perfect score
when they read in the correct order
with only 2 disappointing but still made the quintet cut if there was a
dividend! Despite doing par for the course Starstatz Racing

fans were rewarded with specific instruction which made a profit in 3 of the
races(have overall profit assuming we lost in the remaining races.

My preparation has been fair doung only basic handicap rating and speed figure
only for the top contenders so there wouldn't be much longshots or surprises
tonight except for the minor placings. Tipsters should generally do well today
and I expect most of us to clear the 3 win hurdle mark with a couple of
shoo-ins. I noticed Michael Lee has maintained a steady aim to continue his
winning streak with a shoo-in pick on Ip Man. I dont begrudge him for selecting
favourites but isn't this much better guidance for the newbies who read the
Straits Times then to send ST readers chasing wild geese no hopers with their
pre-July performance of below 25%(very likely below 20%...perhaps STC should
clarify their 1st half of season scores in case we have a wrong impression.
Surely this is the way to promote racing to ST readers instead of promoting dead
ducks like Dont Tell the Wife who had zero chances in WFA races against the "BIG
GUNS" even though sometimes these big guns did not deliver a win.

Kudos to STC for introducing the Trackus system which will help aficianados of
sectional times like myself...no more tedious manual calculations and burning
the midnight oil to get superior handicap data not available to the general
market.

I hope STC does not just implement the system and leave it alone. They should
ensure that post-race sectional times data is duly captured on their website and
particularly the leading Race Books like Racing Guide and Punters Way be
suitably encouraged with advertising support by STC to incorporate these new
sectional times data into their format(no more suing of each other and just do
it please!). I suspect that the SPH Mandarin publications will embrace sectional
times later rather than sooner as there is a dearth of handicap material in
Mandarin explaining the use of sectional times as a handicapping tool. STC
should conduct promotions to educate the media and the racing public in general.
Even I myself have yet to master this subject ...do I use 1st and last 400M or
do I use 600M?...what if there is no 400M call time(what shall I do...at the
moment I average the 300M and 500M call time and divide by 2). This system will
be perfect to enhance my capabilities as a leading pundit and make me a serious
contender for top strike rate internet/media tipster for this year and give
Frosty a run for his money. I will still have to (willingly) acknowledge Frosty
as the Champion Media Tipster for this year even though the race has not ended
yet and leave the rest to fight out the minor placings.

I hope STC learns the lessons from the introduction of Quadro betting where the
supporting literature on pricing of quadro bets was very rudimentary and go onto
educate the ordinary punter into a serious horse racing enthisiast with some
basic handicap knowledge instead of just following market tips.

Kudos to the STC Top Management for being brave enough to take this expensive
and bold step forward to improve Singapore racing. Let's hope the STC middle
management do their part and follow up with promotions and literature to support
this new product.

My selections TODAY COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO BET THE RACES WITH A SMALL
BUDGET.Assuming we lost in all races we would have scored on win/place betting and
forecast/place forecast . In addition the Race 1 tierce of $168...the race 4
tierce of $333
and the Race 7 tierce of $122 , Quartet of $1213 and the Quadro of $238 for
modest sums using 4 as a banker and 10-2 as key horses.
Of course not everyday is a profitable day and good winning days come by not
too often . Do let me point out that on 7naps i am in very illustrious comapany
of horse racing experts who provide one free tip per race day and most of them
are showing impressive return on investments for 13.55% and 34.56% ROI.
Singapore Nap is the 2nd worst performer with a loss of minus 13.46% . I
recommend STC to follow this format based on dividends next year.Starstatz
Racing(it does not tip every race day but it is required to tip the full card of
races for that day) is in 3rd with 75 wins from 257 selections for a strike rate
of 29.18% edging Tan Thean Loon on 191 wins for a strike rate of 29.03%. I
suppose to claim due credit i must push Starstatz Racing to beat Frosty's score
to gain the respoect of the racing fraternity
as all of us operate under differing conditions. also understand some of the
tipsters have to double up and tip Malaysian racing as well.
This makes it a tight schedule for the various reporters to devote more research
before they make their final selction.
For the Straits Times advertorials Craig did not tip and remains at 7 wins from
16 selections for a strike rate of 41.18% and Michael Lee is now on 8 wins from
16 selections for a 50% strike rate.

Let me pay a tribute to the late Dr Yap ...the original Owner of Jumbo
Jet..."May Singapore Racing have more Owners who have the passion and enjoy
the excitement and pleasure of owning a Champion racehorse like our great JUmbo
Jet"

PREVIEW OF RACE
With some doubt on Jamal Mali's form I am predicting that this WFA is likely to
result in the top 4 horses finishing in the order of their
saddlecloth numbers. Even If I am wrongI still expect 1 or 2(less likely but
must drop in body weight) to win and 2 and 3 to be key horses

in making the 2nd spot and the remaining top 7 saddlecloth numbers with 8 and 9
out of their depth with their low rating....
imagine Primary school students running against University students. The chasm in
class of 31 pooints or 15.5kg and 23 points or 11.5 kg
makes it a tall order for 8 and 9 to have any impact in this Group 3 Race.
The pace will be slow with 2 getting the rails run form the only other front
runner 6. 1 and 3 will be in the box seat with the rest of the on pace

runners with 8 the only off pace runner bring up the rear.
Their ratings for HR(handicap ratings) and SF Speed figures are as follows:-

1) HR 119.3/ SF 1:21.32

2) HR 114.8 / SF 1:22.76

3) HR114/SF 1:23.2

4) HR 108.7(1600M)/ SF1:22.25

5) HR108.37/SF 1:22.49

6) HR109/SF 1:22.54

7) HR106.6/ SF 1:23.6

8) HR105.9(1200M POLY)/ SF 1:22.98

9) HR104.77/ SF 1:22.75

Our dear BTE has played bridesmaid 3 times and seems to have suffered air
sickness in travelling overseas but his recent barrier trial
under a tight hold seems to dispel our fears and he should be back at his best
to show his true potential although World Class he may not be.

In order my selections are 1-2-3-4-5-6-7. Be prepared to uprade 7 to 5th choice
if his body weight goes up by 5-10kg. I recko it is safe to use 1
as a banker and 2 and 3 as safe key bets on the 2nd line in the exotics with the
remainder on the 3rd and 4th lines if you have a limited bufget.

If the body weight of 2 trims down further do put a $10 cover on 2/1/3-4-5-6-7
on tierce. Bet big win only on BTE and cover some tickets only on one
win/multiple placings if hus body weight improves and reduces further.

My work today is adequate even making use of sectional times in certain races so I should give a good account of myself with some good price dividends.

STARSTATZ RACING 02 SEPTEMBER 2011

My preparation has been fair doung only basic handicap rating and speed figure only for the top contenders so there wouldn't be much longshots or surprises tonight except for the minor placings. Tipsters should generally do well today and I expect most of us to clear the 3 win hurdle mark with a couple of shoo-ins. I noticed Michael Lee has maintained a steady aim to continue his winning streak with a shoo-in pick on Ip Man. I dont begrudge him for selecting favourites but isn't this much better guidance for the newbies who read the Straits Times then to send ST readers chasing wild geese no hopers with their pre-July performance of below 25%(very likely below 20%...perhaps STC should clarify their 1st half of season scores in case we have a wrong impression. Surely this is the way to promote racing to ST readers instead of promoting dead ducks like Dont Tell the Wife who had zero chances in WFA races against the "BIG GUNS" even though sometimes these big guns did not deliver a win.

Kudos to STC for introducing the Trackus system which will help aficianados of sectional times like myself...no more tedious manual calculations and burning the midnight oil to get superior handicap data not available to the general market.
I hope STC does not just implement the system and leave it alone. They should ensure that post-race sectional times data is duly captured on their website and particularly the leading Race Books like Racing Guide and Punters Way be suitably encouraged with advertising support by STC to incorporate these new sectional times data into their format(no more suing of each other and just do it please!). I suspect that the SPH Mandarin publications will embrace sectional times later rather than sooner as there is a dearth of handicap material in Mandarin explaining the use of sectional times as a handicapping tool. STC should conduct promotions to educate the media and the racing public in general. Even I myself have yet to master this subject ...do I use 1st and last 400M or do I use 600M?...what if there is no 400M call time(what shall I do...at the moment I average the 300M and 500M call time and divide by 2). This system will be perfect to enhance my capabilities as a leading pundit and make me a serious contender for top strike rate internet/media tipster for this year and give Frosty a run for his money. I will still have to (willingly) acknowledge Frosty as the Champion Media Tipster for this year even though the race has not ended yet and leave the rest to fight out the minor placings.
I hope STC learns the lessons from the introduction of Quadro betting where the supporting literature on pricing of quadro bets was very rudimentary and go onto educate the ordinary punter into a serious horse racing enthisiast with some basic handicap knowledge instead of just following market tips.
Kudos to the STC Top Management for being brave enough to take this expensive and bold step forward to improve Singapore racing. Let's hope the STC middle management do their part and follow up with promotions and literature to support this new product.

STARSTATZ RACING 28 AUGUST 2011

Craig Brennan should be applauded for his bravery as the only media tipster to go against our Grand Champion and between Michael Lee and him they decided to make it the headline in the ST advertorials. Whether he is foolhardy or brilliant move we can decide after the birds have flown and the result is known. Giving 33 points or 16.5kg in handicap but receiving 4.5 kg I think Mr Craig brennan would get better results on a wild goose chase. In all likelihood I see Flying Fulton running 4th and 2nd at best unders the weight conditions.

My preparation has been fair but adequate but today's races I see a battle between Duric and Moreira for top honours and Saimee breaking his recent lean spell with a win or two. My selections are :-

RACE 1 MEDIKUM...9-11-4-8....SAFE BET

RACE 2 BIG... 8-1-10-6....BEST TRIAL TIME WITH CLASSY SPRINT SIRE....LED ALL THE WAY IN HIS TRIAL

RACE 3 MEDIUM ...2-1-7-3

RACE 4 BIG... 9-1-7-8....SAFE BET AND BEST BET IF YOU IGNORE ROCKET MAN AS A FREEBIE SHOO-IN WIN

RACE 5 MEDIUM ...1-4-6-3....VALUE BET AT GOOD PRICE...CAN SURPRISE

RACE 6 MEDIUM ...11-2-4-9

RACE 7 SMALL 7-4-2-5....BEST HANDICAP BUT POOR RECENT FORM...WON AT CR 67 WITH 56.5 KG 09 APR...IS THIS TO BE MR BASIL MARCUS'S LAST HURRAH AT LONGSHOT PRICES? BEST LONGSHOT OF THE DAY

RACE 8 MEDIUM...5-1-10-6....CAN UPSET THE LIKELY FAVOURITE WHO HAS JUST RECOVERED FROM RESPIRATORY DISTRESS IN JULY 2011

RACE 9 BIG...1-2-3-4-5....BEST SHOO-IN BET AND DIRECT FORECAST AND DIRECT QUARTET FOR THE DAY

RACE 10 2-4-6-11...BEST VALUE BET OF THE DAY....FAST PACE WILL SUIT HIS OFF PACE STYLE

STARSTATZ RACING 26 AUGUST 2011

Craig Brennan will continue his good form with a safe pick on Arrowana Dot Com. I appreciate the effort they are attempting to keep their reader on course for profits despite tipping a favourite(much better than tipping no hopers. I am disappointed that Michael Lee is persistent in wasting space on race days by commenting on Better Than Ever's return which would have been better placed with a write up on non - race day or be consigned to the STC website.

For my other comments check my other write up on www.7naps.com

I expect Moreira to deliver on some favourites or place but I do expect one or two of his more unfancied mounts to surprise at odds. Whatever it is he should feature on the win line or exotics today on most of his mounts. This should be a good day for winners if you are brave enough to against certain favourites.

My selections are :-

Race 1 medium...8-1-11-6

Race 2 medium 7-5-2-3...can cover 3 if there is betting suppoprt

Race 3 BIG 12-1-5-6....equal sectional time to 1 and slowly away for last 3 runs and raced wide in his last run....can improve...must cover 1...Best longshot of the night

Race 4 small ... 4-2-1-9....lone front runner...very slow pace will suit

Race 5 BIG 9-3-4-1...Moreira's value bet with superior handicap

Race 6 small 12-2-5-6....risky wild longshot due apprentice rider. one of 2 front runners in slow pace race...apprentice due for a break as the handicap is overwhelming

Race 7 BIG 1-4-8-6-5-2...Best forecast/quartet for the night

Race 8 medium 3-4-7-10....Class 5 specialist in a very weak field

Race 9 BIG...9-4-6-1...shoo-in safe bet of the night

STARSTATZ RACING 07 AUGUST 2011

The writing is on the wall for Merchant when the mystery writer(in the Straits Times advertorials ....I presume to be Michael Lee...i wonder why ariters are so ashamed of their work so as not to pen their names to the articles...perhaps due to space constraints...anyway I shall credit the score to Michael if Apache Crown wins,To keep up his fantastic strike rate for July Mr Craig Brennan has wisely opted for Super Easy...the shoo-in bet. With a little dose of good luck the ST advertorials might strike a 100% record for the day although Mr Shaw ,Dittatore and Mr Vorster may still have a say in the matter but 7 months is a long break and it will be a masterclass in training if Mr Shaw does achieve the feat and replicate French Irish's victory on Friday off a six month break. I shall reproduce my article on 7naps to announce my double direct quartet hits in Race 6 and Race 8 on Friday.

The race card today is a mixed bag with shoo-ins like Ip Man (congrats to STC broadcasting team for getting the right pronunciation) nad Super Easy coupled with good safe bets like Chan's Elektra Quinta De Lago and Cape D'Or. Other than these the rest of the card wopuld need an extra dose of good luck as my 2nd picks will give my 1st picks a run for the money. So be alert to last minute tote movement as an indication but in the main some of my 1st picks will deliver including 2 possible longshots in Whydouask and Lucky Find. If you want to be cautious I recommend Dutch betting in the races marked medium and do a cove rbet on the 2nd picks.

These are my selections :-
B
RACE 1 MEDIUM 2-8-6-4...LONGSHOT OF THE DAY CAN CONSIDER EQUAL COVER BET ON 8....PACE GOOD

RACE 2 BIG...7-11-3-2....SHOO-IN BEST BET....GOOD VALUE AS BANKER FOR EXOTIC BETS BUT POOR VALUE FOR WION/PLACE....PACE SLOW

RACE 3 BIG...3-4-6-1...2ND BEST SHOO-IN BET....PACE VERY FAST

RACE 4 BIG ...1-3-7-5....PACE SLOW

RACE 5 BIG...1-3-7-2....2ND BEST BET OF THE DAY...GOOD SAFE BET...PACE GOOD

RACE 6 MEDIUM...10-3-8-2 ....2ND BEST LONGSHOT OF THE DAY...CAN COVER 3....PACE GOOD TO FAST

race 7 MEDIUM...4-5-3-2-1...BEST VALUE BET ...SUGGEST FORECAST /PLACE FORECAST WITH 5 AND 3. FOR POLITICAL POINTS i HAVE SWAPPED POSITIONS ON MY 1ST 2 SELECTIONS ON SINGAPORE NAP AND I AM DOING A STRONG FORECAST/PLACE FORECAST BET ON 4#5 AND DOING A STRONG COVER BET ON 5.AND INVESTING LESS ON THE MERCHANT CPOMBINATION....PACE GOOD

RACE 8 BIG 6-3-7-5....BEST BET OF THE DAY AT VALUE....PACE SLOW

RACE 9 MEDIUM 2-9-7-6...PACE GOOD...CAN CONSIDER COVER BET ON 9

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

BREAKING NEWS !!! Starstatz Racing proves that lightniong can strike twice inn
the same place by hitting a directn tierce/quartet in Race 6 and Race 8 on
Friday. As a bomus Starstatz Racing manage a top tipster performance of the day
with 4 winners. In addition modest tierce were struck within 4 selections . 2
direct tierces /quartets with the 4 selections in the exact order...the
equivalent of a hpole in one in golf. The value for the tierce/quartet was
$93/$265 in Race 6 and $43/$165 in Race 8. As a further bonus the quartet of
$495 was struck in Race 9 using selections but using 2 bankers. We managed the
direct forecast of $9 in Race 9 as well. To put this feat of a strike on the
direct quartet ion race 6 a reader could have been lucky enough to spend $2 to
get the $265. In reality he may have used the winner as a banker and box the
remaining 3 horses for a $24 investment. In other terms it is like putting $5 on
a longshot and it comes in paying $662...how is that for value. Starstatz Racing
did a direct quartet hit 7 times last season ranging from $19 to $411. This is
my 3rd or 4th direct quartet hit this season.!

On the tally front Craig Brennan hit a winner and is now on 6 wins from 11 races
for a strike rate of 54.55% while Michael did a baffling (the trainer himself
mentioned Funca was in need of a run)fruitless punt on Funca while Placais did
his winner on French Irish. Andrew Frost still leads the table with 179 from 581
selections for a 30.86 % strike rate while Tan Thean Loon is now in 2nd with 169
wins from 581 selections for a strike rate of 29.09% . By comparison Singapor
eNap in now lyying 3rd with 18 wins 20 placings from 62 selections while
Starstatz Racing is now in 7th with 54 from 200 selections for a strike rate of
27%. i do apologise for the typos in both blogs on Friday and I typed in racing
Guide instead of Punters Way when i compared the 2 race books.. I expect the ST
advertorials to tip Merchant if he he is going to win on Sunday and maybe some
other horse if Merchant is going to fail. Anyway I believe Merchant is
vulnerable and can be beaten by either Dittatore or Apache Crown.

PREVIEW OF RACE

I am behind schedule as usual but i do believe this is a 3 way fight between
Dittatore , Apache Crown with DI(Dittatore) and Merchant being the 2 class
horses in the race. The pace will be good qith 1-6-4 as natural front runners
with on pacers 2and 5 following closely with 3 and 7 at the tail end.
Merchant is vulnerable today as he does not have the best HR/SF or sectional
times in this race . However he has been penalised the most points ie 7 by the
handicapper and the pace it becomes fast will suit his off pace style. He does
possess th ebest strike rate of 5 wins from 12 starts in his favour.
My pick Dittatore my indeed be in need of a run as commented by Andrew Frost but
can lightning strike twice and can Mr Shaw produce a similar encore and repeat
French Irish's feat on Fridat. The difference is a 7 month break instead of 6
months and this is a sprint race while French Irish was at 1600MDittatore
possesses the best HR of 95.33(only Kalash is higher but he did it on turf) and
his SF is a good 1.16 seconds or approximately 6 lengths ahead of the field iof
he is back to his best. He does have a placing for 3 1st up starts.. His
sectional time at 47.8 is much better than Dynamic Dan at 48.41 and Apache Crown
at 48.46 while Merchant is at 48,77 domne inl lower company but certainly
haviong room for improvement.. Even if Shaw brings his condition to 80%
Dittatore can still account for this average field and his preparation of
Dittatore looks similar to that of French irish so we harbour the hope of
lightning striking twice in the same place. If Dittatore is in poor condition
than I believe Apache Crown at HR 91.83 , SF at 1:11.25 can edge ot Merchant.
whose figures are at HR 89.53 SF at 1:12.34.
We recommend a medium bet on Dittatore and a cover French bet on Apache Crown
and pit myself against Merchant and play the role of Bagman.. Merchant might yet
prove me wrong...let's see if my judgement is sound in the face of Merchant
being an odds on favourite. i am willing to take a calulated risk against
Merchant but will not bet the house against it happening as Merchant's awesome
strike rate and class and if the pace is hot he might still deliver!

In order my selections are 5-4-3-2-7-1. I suggest using 2 bankers as I do have a
healthy respect for Frosty's opinion but I am hoping Mr Shaw will pull off a
training coup by bringing Dittatore close to peak race fitness and give it a
good shake.. I suggest a forecast on 5-4-3 box in case 5 fails..Put 5-4-3 on the
2nd line as well if on a tight budget but if budget is not a problem throw the
remaining selections on the 2nd , 3rd and 4th lines Good Luck. Look out for the
Starstatz racing posting as I did a quick and cursory handicap of the full card
with safe bets like Ip Man, Super Easy and Chan's Elektra to look forward to!
Dittatore should be a value bet of the day with a good return on dividends as
most tipsters have left him out of the top 4! i AM BANKING ON sHAW'S TRAINING
EXPERTISE TO COME TO THE FORE!

Singapore Nap selection for Race 7 : number 5 Dittatore
