My preparation for today is woefully inadequate and i wont be surprised iF I lose further ground against the leaders but I hope to compensate by leaning towards the advice of my trackwatcher. However he has selected Texan Takeover as a good bet in race 8 and I am going against him in this race. Moreira will bounce back from his dearth of winners last week with his regular quota and I do expect him to put at least 3 wins on the board.

On a day when favourites fell like 10 pins Starstatz Racing put only onw win on the board but Andrew Frost and Racing Guide did slightly better with 2 wins each.Andrew Frost is now on 257 wins from 812 selections(31.65%) and Racing Guide has edged ahead of Starstatz Racing and into 3rd spot with 245 wins from 812 selections (30.17%) and Starstatz Racing is now on 244 wins from 812 selections to go 4th (30.05%). Meanwhile Singapore Nap is on 39 winners / 20 placings from 84 selections (46.43%) in the strike rate challenge.
PREVIEW OF RACE
The weather will play a key role in the outcome of this race with a wet track favouring Deep Pockets despite being significantly underclassed in this wide open race. If the track is good Gingerbread Man will give it a good shake despite his wide barrier draw. I will only give this selection a one * rating and recommend other races for serious horse investments. This race is wide open with all the higly rated horses drawn wide and picking a winner is ike tossing a coin to determine the winner....so a coffee break is actually the best option. The pace will be good with 3 front running types and it is significant that Moreira could have opted for the ride on Waikato but opted to go on Deep Pockets. Go slow on the exotics for this race but I suggest a small box bet on forecast/place forecast on 10#4#3 and add a token bet on win/place on Deep Pockets. In order my selections are *10-4/3-1-11-5-6. Any of the Top 4 picks can win!

Moreira has a strong book of rides today and those who follow him blindly should do well today. I expect 3-5 winners from him today and 4-5 will not surprise me at all! I have not devoted as much time as I would have wanted on research today with sectional times done for only Race 8 .. Media Tipsters should do well today and they should be able to put 3-5 on the board and I would be disappointed if I dont reach a target of 4 winners today!

I am expecting a field day for Moreira and going for broke banking on him to deliver in most of the races and I think he will get his handful (estimate 4-5 wins ) of winners and go close to setting a personal best and he should win or go close in most of his rides except for Race 4.
Sunday would be a better day for serious horse investments. Race 6 would be a good test to gauge my handicap data when even my track watcher and some prominent Media Tipsters have selected the classy Speedy Cat as a good bet to beat El Padrino and the humble background Class 3 battler What Now. What Now has the best HR/SF and sectional times and El Padrino has the 2nd best sectional times while the classy Speedy Cat who has raced in Group company has the 5th best sectional times behind Let's See Action and even Rafaga. If the classy Speedy Cat does win the race I have to review my methodologies but if What Now or El Padrino wins it will justify the merits of my methodologies.
