In the recently concluded Singapore Racing Season and Best Strike Rate Challenge Singapore Nap emerged Champion with 33.0% (34 wins/31 placings from 103 selections with the advantage of early late Mail Service(without full benefits of the late mail service) . In 2nd spot was the Winner21 Challenge Winner Andrew Frost with 30.67%.(295 winners from 962 selections .The Starstatz Racing blog had a late surge in form to pip Champion Racebook Tipster Racing Guide by winning the last 2 races on the last day to decide 3rd position with 30.19%. (144 wins from 477 selections). Racing Guide's tally was 29.83 % ( 287 wins from 962 selections. Tan Thean Loon came in a valiant 5th with 29.52% (284 wins from 962 selections).

I am a little ring rusty as I have not done HKG Racing since early this season but I will challenge Racing Guide , Punters Way, Blogger HS chan and the 2 HKG Stalwarts Ma TAt and Phillip Woo and compete with them for just one day and let's see if I can keep pace with these regular tipsters. I have used all the Handicapping tools available from the HKGJC website except sectional times due to time constraints and see how I measure up.! We are nown the final stretch in the strike rate Challenge and Singapore Nap is in a strong commanding 3% lead at 33 66% with Frosty in 2nd and Racing Guide is in 3rd . Starstatz Racing at 29.82% has a marginal lead over Tan Thean Loon and it will be a thrilling drive to the finish line and I wouldn't be surprised if lose my current as I highly respect the Monsieur from Penang who knows his horses well but win or lose I will try my best ! I have already mentioned in detail why I have an unfair advantage but have also explained that I am not working under ideal conditions. I am proud of my work this season as I was a long last after 10 selections with 30 % placinge but not q single win for the month of January but faithfully recorded n announced my last position dutifully even though it was embarrassing to say the least. I managed to break through the to break through the Top 5 by mid year and improved with the advent of sectional times in early September. I believe the dominance by Top 5 is linked to the introduction of sectional times and by a strange phenomenon they are all from the English Media. Although I have not done thorough research I have done a quick form assessment and felt confident that my 1st pick along with the other contendors should have a high scoring day with bountiful winners today. With the input from the track watcher I have changed my selection from Captain Obvious on Singapore Nap to Merchant whose Damsire is by the Champion Australian Sire Luskin Star and the Dam of merchant had one win over 1100M. I have also changed the order of selections as he suspects Captain Obvious withdrawal indicated more serious problems that that for Merchant and Powerful Tree.Today will be a good betting day for win play and forecast but due to skimpy research do go slow on the other exotics. I have used a slash to separate the likely winners from the place chances so forecast bets would be good coupled with place forecasts. sINGAPORE NAP IS 1ST WITH 33.0% IN THE STRIKE RATE CHALLENGE AND STARSTATZ RACING IS CURRENTLY 5TH WITH 29.44%

My 1st try flopped badly with a 3rd and 4th. This is done on an experimental basis. I have not done the handicap except for Race 6 and race 9 today. The scores today shall not count in the strike rate challenge. The result would be better with a paddock assessment condition report and full handicap analysis. I am experimenting with a new handicap tool feature today and see how it works out....so be cautious.
