My preparation and research has been poor except for Race 7 today. Due to work commitments I am limping to the finish line with 3 weeks to go ...depending primarily on my in-house track watcher with the odd veto for my final decision. I will lucky if I cling on to 5th spot in the face of challenge from Hui Liang who is 4 wins behind me and my challenge for 4th spot with Brian Miller who is also 4 wins ahead of me is only a distant hope now but who knows I may get lucky! However my tip for the next 3 weeks is to follow Racing Guide , Tan Thean Loon and Hui Liang closely as I will not be at my best with inadequate preparation and Andrew Frost with a 8 margin will probably relax and canter to the finish line but I do predict that Racing Guide will overhaul Winner21 to take 2nd spot in the full card challenge.
However Singapore Nap can be proud of his best strike rate performance involving the top race of the day with a sterling 46.32% strike rate with 44 wins/24 placings from 95 selections. This is what happens when one sets a high performance benchmark of 50% for oneself and even if you fail to hit the target it is a performance to be proud of. I have not compiled comparisons for the selected races I have tipped but I genuinely believe it will be close between Frosty and me but if it were to be counted on dividends I would score the best on the selected races on this format. If there is another better performance by an Internet/Print Media out there do drop me an email to bring it to my attention and I shall be glad to announce it on my blog!
For today 's races Moreira will get his usual handful of winners but I expect the figure to be closer to 3 rather than 5 winners! However most of his rides except perhaps Rich Born will be good for placing for your exotic bets. If you do not fancymy 1st picks do consider my 2nd picks as alternates! Singapore Nap failed to score on the winner in Race 7 on Friday but you will not lose money with a $10 return on place but if my advice was taken Singapore Nap readers would have made on the $18 forecast from an investment of $6 on the recommended bet of 8#1#3 and broke even on the $6 place forecast bet.
Andrew Frost is still the favourite to win this year's title of Top Media Tipster for the full card Challenge with 4 wins on Friday including decent prices on Daad's The Way, Ktronic and Tai Commands and looks like cruising home in the home straight with 4 weeks to go .
Andrew is sitting comfortably with at least a 7 win lead on nearest challenger Racing Guide with 293 wins from 898 wins ( 32.63%) and is likely to reach an unprecedented 300 Win milestone before the season ends. Racing Guide is probably on 2nd with 286 wins from maximum (31.85%) . Winner 21 is probably in 3rd and Brian Miller is in 4th with 278 wins from maximum( 30.96%) and Starstatz Racing is in 5th with 275 wins from maximum (30.62%). Singapore Nap on a different one race per day format has the honour of having the best strike rate of 46.74% with 43 wins 22 placings from 92 selections

Bahen is by no means a shoo-in but he is a good confident bet and definitely on the way to Class 1 and emulate Goalkeeper's exploits as a superior Polytrack horse. He is by useful American Sire Tale of the Cat ( a dirt track specialist so equally at home on the Polytrack) and his Dam Mistinquett allthough not quite in the Class of Sunline has 10 wins under her belt. There are different theories that winless Dams being lightly raced in comparison produce superior progeny but I subscribe to the theory that if the Dam has class she is likely to pass that Class to her offspring while her Sire will contribute the speed or distance influence but the beauty of it is that bloodstock analysis and results are not an exact science and the produce from both parents can end up a dud or each contribute different types of attributes and that is why most replicas eg Danehill had more than one full brother but none were better than the original cross that produced Danehill!
On class ,courage and fighting spirit I have decisively selected Bahen as a special bet. with Andrew Frost ringing endorsement on Winning Workouts and even with my poor untrained eye I could spot Bahen beautiful muscled hindquarters and shining coat and he is truly in striking and in horseracing parlance he truly looks like a " Dragon. In order my selections are 1///7-8-2//10-6-3-Of these horse nbr 7 Swagger has the best handicap but he appears not to be at his best but trackwatcher 's latest reports indicate he is in good form. and Video Call has the next best handicap figures and appears ready for a good run. The pace will be good with 9-11-2 leading the front runners
but 10 and 6 might suffer the consequences of being badly drawn and could
miss the 4 quartet spots as a consequence.
I recommend a big win only bet on Bahen and a forecast/place forecast play on 1#8-2. For the tierce and quartet try one cover bet on 1#7-8-2///-10-6-3- and for those on a budget use 1 as the sole banker on the 1st line and 7-8-2 as key horses on the 2nd line.and 3rd lines

Please note that I have selected a value bet on Shaolin Soldier in Race 7 for Singapore Nap but I am hedging my bets and follow the input of my trackwatcher by changing my selection to Texan Takeover for Starstatz Racing but I now recommend to play 3#8#1 box for forecast place forecast in Race 7.. My preparation research has been weak due to work distractions and I am hoping for Luck to try to overhaul Brian Miller in 4th place.

Despite the going been rated 5.6(soft) today should be a good day for Media Tipsters. If you do not agree with my 1st pick do consider my 2nd pick seriously as I have gone against the favourites in R1, R3, R5, R12. Although my research is patchy and minimal I am quietly confident as most of my 1st picks can handle the soft track. As the going has changed I have taken the liberty to change my exotic bet selections for Race 11 on Singapore Nap although I remain steadfast and resolute on my original pick .....Better Life.Actually Deep Pockets has a similar handicap rating compared to the classy Flax and with the 6.5 kg turn around in weights and with the soft track Deep Pockets should do better than Flax and moreover for reasons covered and explained on Singapore Nap I believe Flax will not be getting his dream run on the rails and will be caught 3 wide today and he might even lose his place spot to Lizarre who has drawn well. Today is not a high scoring day for Meida Tipsters and the soft track on turf exacerbates the daunting task for Media Tipsters to do well but the weekend's weather forecast for showers with thunder was spot on and we can eliminate Keep Away in Race 8 despite commendable glowing place chance reports from our in-house trackwatcher....Keep Away is allergic to wet tracks and simply abhors such weather conditions and will not likely make the top 4.There is a slight change in my 6th and 7th selection from Singapore Nap. I suggest to be extremely cautious unless your selection has done well in soft going before. The polytrack races are a better bet today with horses like ALL SERENE in Race 2 and for the Turf Tracks proven mudlarks like SUPER NINETYSEVEN (my best bet of the day) and TOM will acquit themselves well.

My research has been patchy and minimal and I continue to plod (without any use of sectional times) n a decent challenge for top 3 spots fading quickly. Andrew Frost is too far in front and my recent full time employment does not give me the time to do proper research to put in a strong challenge. I will again rely heavily on my in-house trackwatcher to guide me on my 1st picks but go slow on the exotics.Moreira has 7 strong winning chances today and should bring in his standard handful of 4-5 winners today. Please check 7nap.com for my latest tally where I am 1st in the strike rate challenge on Singapore Nap and 5th in the full card challenge but harbour distant hopes of challenging Racing Guide for 3rd and in my immediate cross hairs are on Brian Miller(the most improved Media Tipster for this year...to shade his more illustrious stablemate Tan Thean Loon and myself on Starstatz Racing thus far) and doing an 8 win performance on 28 October is indeed an achievement he can be proud of in his 2nd year as a Newpaper Media Tipster!
