mY PREPARATION HAS BEEN FAIR AS i AM ON THE ROAD TODAY WITH LIMITED BATTERY LIFR. tHE RACE CARD LOOKS LIKE A DAY OF FAVOURITES WITH RAIN THE ONLY UNKNOWN FACTOR WHICH SHOULD HELP THE FRONT RUNNERS AND ON PACE RUNNERS IN THE 1ST HALF OF THE FIELD....WATCH OUT FOR MR LAXON AND MR GRAY TODAY AS THEY WELL HANDICAPPPED HORSES THAT ARE SPARINGLY RACED. BASED ON TRACK WATCH REPORTS THEIR HORSES ARE IN SPARKLING FORM AND READY TO STRIKE

BACKGROUND INFORMATION INCLUDING QUADRO BET SMART PLAYS WITH THE EMPHASIS ON WINNING DESPITE MAKING ONE ERROR ON THE KEY HORSES....if there are errors in calculation please highlight them to me. Anyway I shall submit an official list to the betting department for verification of bet calculations


You can call me an enigma of a pundit as I am in an intriguing position of being 1st and last in the internet/print media challenge based on my terms of comparing strike rates. First the bad news ...I have yet to break my duck on Singapore Nap with zero wins, 3 placings from 7 selections with only one win on side selection from 7 picks my strike rate is 7 % (1 win from 5 plus 7 selections for a grand total of 14 picks). On the bright side Starstatz Racing had a good outing on 21 January and shared the top performance of the day with 6 wins for a total of 13 wins from 34 races for a strike rate of 38.24 %. It is not a fair comparison using strike rates(if you make a comparison on my strike rate with the total selection my score would be 29.83 wins if I was doing the full card) but at least it is transparent and I have mentioned the barometer by which I am comparing . It is similar to STC presenters going on leave so we can't compare by winnners but by strike rates. I am in a similar position to Mike Walker with his 21.4% but with a 30 plus sting of horses he does not have the numbers to seriously challenge the old stalwarts for the Champion Trainer for season 2011 but he can(like myself) have excellent chances of having the best strike rate for the whole season! My exotic bet tally stands at a loss of $1018 with no action last week.


I shall replicate my last posting on basic Quadro Plays with today;s edition(for comparison purposes) where you can make one error(ie one key horse fails to finish in top 4.


4 box is obviously $2 , 5 box is $10, 6 box is $30 ,7 box is $70(i think this should be the maximum bet even if one has the budget as i think 8 box is extravagant) , 8 box is $140

The formulae is N x (N-1) x (N-2) x (N-3) divided by 24 = answer


One banker + 4 = $8.... + 5 = $20....+6 =$40 ...+7= $70( plus 6 shud be maximum bet even if one has the budget)

In summary for those with “ SMALL BUDGETS” I would suggest using the 5 horse box for $10


For medium budgets I recommend using 6 horse box for $30


For big budgets ( recommend to use sparingly for lower class races ...especially Class 5 races and also in races where the pace is expected to be fast) from $40 to $70.

The recommend plays are 1/6/6/6 = $40 (single banker must be in top 4)....2/7/7/7 = $60 ...3/3/7/7 = $44...The other plays are 3/7/7/7 = $68 ....4/4/7//7 = $62 and 7 horse box at $70 .


However my top 2 Quadro bet plays are 3/3/6/6 = $24 and 2/6/6/6 = $28...On the average the payouts are approximately $100 plus with the odds double longshots in the top 4 paying $1000 plus.

You can call me an enigma of a pundit as I am in an intriguing position of being 1st and last in the internet/print media challenge based on my terms of comparing strike rates. First the bad news ...I have yet to break my duck on Singapore Nap with zero wins, 2 placings from 5 selections with only one win on side selection from 7 picks my strike rate is 0.08% (1 win from 5 plus 7 selections for a grand total of 12 picks). Compared to the 3 Winner21 tipsters on 9 wins from 56 races with a strike rate of 16.07% I look like a horse who was stuck in the stalls. On the bright side Starstatz Racing had a good jump with 6 wins on opening day followed by a disappointing 1 win on 16 January for a total of 7 wins from 24 races for a strike rate of 29.17%. This compares favourably with current Winner21 leader Hui Liang who is at 26.79% with 15 wins from 56 races. Racing Guide have been slow off the blocks in January with 13 wins for a strike rate of 23.21%. Like Manchester United they have had a slow start with only one top performance of the day with 5 wins but I will bet my last dollar on them reeling in the current leaders. My current score is consistent with my record breaking strike rate in season 2009 of 29.74% with 240 wins from 810 races.


I have a bonus for Singapore Nap readers by being the 1st publication from any media including STC to analyse Quadro bet plays. I hope the STC put their Straits Times to good use by advertising how to calculate the various Quadro bet plays in the manner that I have done. It is very boring just to focus on a bet is $2 and the minimum return is $3 and how to scratch your coupons . I fear for racing in general and the Quadro may go the way of Triple Trio if we do not advertise information on this new bet type which I will term “The poor Man's Quartet and readers of Singapore Nap should do well with this new bet type. Are our various publications so overwhelmed with going to the presses on time that we do not take the initiative to write about Quadro Bets if STC does not do an official Press Release. Are our journalists so hamstrung that they cannot write an interesting new article because no senior staff has given the direction or permission to write this article and promote racing as a consequence? I feel mainstream publications could do more to promote racing by writing articles from new perspectives eg have a feature on the trainers who are able to train a horse to win 1st up either in his 1st run or 1st run after a break like Stairway To Heaven trained by Monsieur Stephen Gray who won after a 6 month break. I was unlucky and less courageous with 3 2nd choice selections winning at longshot prices with Golden Lido, Lady Luck and Stairway To Heaven paying juicy dividends. I can recall without doing any research that Basil Marcus is coy about his horses winning 1st up and I have done well with Trainers like Laxon. Meagher , Walker, Burridge,Shaw, Freedman. Without doing any research I can boldly say that local trainers have a poor strike rate in this area Our race publications could do with promotion of stud farms, horse racing websites, instructional videos, educational books on horse handicapping. Our Pretty IR Lady has to be restrained regarding publicity on casino goers winning big jackpots and cars. Where is the equivalent of promotions in racing. Racing publications are going about their routine barely able to meet Print deadlines and they going through the weekly grind with scant attention to articles to stir up interest and renewed excitement in horse racing. I hope they do games and coupons with the Quadro with a rolling jackpot for quadro game winners at St James Power Station.


Singapore Nap will do its part to promote the Quadro by betting every week on the 5 horse box, 6 horse box and 7 horse box at least for the early weeks and maybe reduce it to 5 and 6 selections only. These are the recommended play although I highly recommend to leave out the 8 horse selections and only use the 7 horse selection sparingly. In the main it is recommended to use 5 or 6 selections on a regular basis. Listed below are the various plays. I would also recommend not to use the box too often and narrow down your key horse or horses as bankers.....

OVERVIEW



I have used the X 2 special very sparingly so far this season but I am coming out of my fox hole for this one and hope to live to tell the tale of my victory in my next post.


Singapore racegoers have a big fear of playing horse with top imposts especially today with 59 kg but I say do not be afraid as there is a big gulf in class of the horses running today. If this was a normal handicap race only Goldschatz(currently off the boil in dismal form) will be made to carry 59.5kg and the rest will run underscaled ranging from My Drumbeat at 49.5kg to Clint at 45.5kg a range difference of 27 points or 13.5 kg differential . Instead Tell A Tale is giving away a maximum of 7kg .....a paltry penalty by comparison


The pace will slow with 2 noted front running types in 3 and 4. On pace runners 2-7-5-8 will jump next with the 2 main chances at the rear and I am counting on Tell A Tale to have a more devastating turn of foot in the home straight but they have to keep a watchful eye on My Drumbeat and keep within striking distance. They may have to make their move before the home turn if the pace turns out to be slow as expected. Tell A tale is easily the Class Act in this race with his winning experiences in New Zealand. He does not have the best handicap ratings(HR) but he is easily the best rated in form horse. Only Goldschatz and Ravages and Pina Colarda have a superior HR than number 1

Their ratings are 1 at 89.87, 2 at 100.8, 3 at 89.5, 4 at 91.5, 5 at 88, 6 at 87.5, 7 at 95.1 and 8 at 85.4. Tell A Tale should signs of doing well unsighted at the rear at the home turn but flashed home well to be with 1.55 lengths from the winner. I did my 1st round handicap before the race card was out . With Duric on board merely serve to reinforce my analysis as apprentices don't seem in general to do well in distance races(perhaps the publications should take a cue and research this data on well junior jockeys perform in distance races from 1600M onwards. The standing joke in racing circles is that they are likely to be winded a long way out before the home straight and will tire before the horses actually do so and likely to get a flat punctured tyre as the saying goes in Singlish. In order my selections are 1-5-3( 1 would suggest using these 3 as key horses allowing room for one to fail to make the Quadro.)-6-7-2-4. I shall officially bet using 2 bankers and the top 6 horses for the tierce and quartet. I shall drop the trio bets and replace them with 3 Quadro bets with 5 horse box, 6 horse box and 7 horse box at least for this week. My exotic bet lost a further $180 last week to make it an official loss of $838 plus $180 for a total deficit of $1018. Put a big bet on win /place as I expect a double digit return even if he remains a firm 1st favourite because of local mindset bias which will be a bonus for Singapore Nap readers!

Instead Tell A Tale is giving away a maximum of 7kg .....a paltry penalty by comparison


The pace will slow with 2 noted front running types in 3 and 4. On pace runners 2-7-5-8 will jump next with the 2 main chances at the rear and I am counting on Tell A Tale to have a more devastating turn of foot in the home straight but they have to keep a watchful eye on My Drumbeat and keep within striking distance. They may have to make their move before the home turn if the pace turns out to be slow as expected. Tell A tale is easily the Class Act in this race with his winning experiences in New Zealand. He does not have the best handicap ratings(HR) but he is easily the best rated in form horse. Only Goldschatz and Ravages and Pina Colarda have a superior HR than number 1

Their ratings are 1 at 89.87, 2 at 100.8, 3 at 89.5, 4 at 91.5, 5 at 88, 6 at 87.5, 7 at 95.1 and 8 at 85.4. Tell A Tale should signs of doing well unsighted at the rear at the home turn but flashed home well to be with 1.55 lengths from the winner. I did my 1st round handicap before the race card was out . With Duric on board merely serve to reinforce my analysis as apprentices don't seem in general to do well in distance races(perhaps the publications should take a cue and research this data on well junior jockeys perform in distance races from 1600M onwards. The standing joke in racing circles is that they are likely to be winded a long way out before the home straight and will tire before the horses actually do so and likely to get a flat punctured tyre as the saying goes in Singlish. In order my selections are 1-5-3( 1 would suggest using these 3 as key horses allowing room for one to fail to make the Quadro.)-6-7-2-4. I shall officially bet using 2 bankers and the top 6 horses for the tierce and quartet. I shall drop the trio bets and replace them with 3 Quadro bets with 5 horse box, 6 horse box and 7 horse box at least for this week. My exotic bet lost a further $180 last week to make it an official loss of $838 plus $180 for a total deficit of $1018. Put a big bet on win /place as I expect a double digit return even if he remains a firm 1st favourite because of local mindset bias which will be a bonus for Singapore Nap readers!

BACKGROUND INFORMATION ...WITH A SCOOP ON QUADRO BET PLAYS

You can call me an enigma of a pundit as I am in an intriguing position of being 1st and last in the internet/print media challenge based on my terms of comparing strike rates. First the bad news ...I have yet to break my duck on Singapore Nap with zero wins, 2 placings from 5 selections with only one win on side selection from 7 picks my strike rate is 0.08% (1 win from 5 plus 7 selections for a grand total of 12 picks). Compared to the 3 Winner21 tipsters on 9 wins from 56 races with a strike rate of 16.07% I look like a horse who was stuck in the stalls. On the bright side Starstatz Racing had a good jump with 6 wins on opening day followed by a disappointing 1 win on 16 January for a total of 7 wins from 24 races for a strike rate of 29.17%. This compares favourably with current Winner21 leader Hui Liang who is at 26.79% with 15 wins from 56 races. Racing Guide have been slow off the blocks in January with 13 wins for a strike rate of 23.21%. Like Manchester United they have had a slow start with only one top performance of the day with 5 wins but I will bet my last dollar on them reeling in the current leaders. My current score is consistent with my record breaking strike rate in season 2009 of 29.74% with 240 wins from 810 races.


I have a bonus for Singapore Nap readers by being the 1st publication from any media including STC to analyse Quadro bet plays. I hope the STC put their Straits Times to good use by advertising how to calculate the various Quadro bet plays in the manner that I have done. It is very boring just to focus on a bet is $2 and the minimum return is $3 and how to scratch your coupons . I fear for racing in general and the Quadro may go the way of Triple Trio if we do not advertise information on this new bet type which I will term “The poor Man's Quartet and readers of Singapore Nap should do well with this new bet type. Are our various publications so overwhelmed with going to the presses on time that we do not take the initiative to write about Quadro Bets if STC does not do an official Press Release. Are our journalists so hamstrung that they cannot write an interesting new article because no senior staff has given the direction or permission to write this article and promote racing as a consequence? I feel mainstream publications could do more to promote racing by writing articles from new perspectives eg have a feature on the trainers who are able to train a horse to win 1st up either in his 1st run or 1st run after a break like Stairway To Heaven trained by Monsieur Stephen Gray who won after a 6 month break. I was unlucky and less courageous with 3 2nd choice selections winning at longshot prices with Golden Lido, Lady Luck and Stairway To Heaven paying juicy dividends. I can recall without doing any research that Basil Marcus is coy about his horses winning 1st up and I have done well with Trainers like Laxon. Meagher , Walker, Burridge,Shaw, Freedman. Without doing any research I can boldly say that local trainers have a poor strike rate in this area Our race publications could do with promotion of stud farms, horse racing websites, instructional videos, educational books on horse handicapping. Our Pretty IR Lady has to be restrained regarding publicity on casino goers winning big jackpots and cars. Where is the equivalent of promotions in racing. Racing publications are going about their routine barely able to meet Print deadlines and they going through the weekly grind with scant attention to articles to stir up interest and renewed excitement in horse racing. I hope they do games and coupons with the Quadro with a rolling jackpot for quadro game winners at St James Power Station.


Singapore Nap will do its part to promote the Quadro by betting every week on the 5 horse box, 6 horse box and 7 horse box at least for the early weeks and maybe reduce it to 5 and 6 selections only. These are the recommended play although I highly recommend to leave out the 8 horse selections and only use the 7 horse selection sparingly. In the main it is recommended to use 5 or 6 selections on a regular basis. Listed below are the various plays. I would also recommend not to use the box too often and narrow down your key horse or horses as bankers.....


4 box is obviously $2 , 5 box is $10, 6 box is $30 ,7 box is $70(i think this should be the maximum bet even if one has the budget as i think 8 box is extravagant) , 8 box is $140

The formulae is N x (N-1) x (N-2) x (N-3) divided by 24 = answer


One banker + 4 = $8.... + 5 = $20....+6 =$40 ...+7= $70( plus 6 shud be maximum bet even if one has the budget)

2 bankers + 3 = $6....+4 = $12....+5 = $20 ....+6 = $30

The formulae is (N-2) x (N-3) divided by 2 = answer

BREAKING NEWS ! STARSTATZ RACING had a good jump on the opening bell and was top internet print media tipster for the day with 6 wins from 12 races ,,,a 50% strike rate! Starstatz Racing was 2 lengths(wins) clear of the nearest challengers Hui Liang , Danny Khoo, Zheng Liang and Meng Yew.. The dividends were all fair value double with double digit dividends with the highest at $29 for Good Day as a bonus! As a bonus my best bet of the obliged with The Cinderella Man paying $11 and $6 but my longshot of the day was unplaced

My start on Singapore was fair with a 2nd (which counts as a zero as only win tally is used) and I managed to tip the tierce and quartet although the returns were lower than investments made. Although I tipped Jamal Malik I warned that stablemate might run unchallenged at better odds and I suggested using 2 bankers to include the winner Escamonda on the 1st line. For this season I shall drop the invest and val bets and concentrate on the exotic bets with the option to play with one banker, 2 bankers or skip the race..

I will probably be a scratching on Starstaz Racing this weekend and will post as and when my new schedule permits as I am undergoing an apprentice programme in casino games as an advisor. Ironically instead of using my 2 win lead I shall forego the advantage and use my zero score on Singapore Nap and my percentage strike rate as a comparison against the race leaders. Let me give you a tip ...despite a slow jump with only 2 wins follow Racing Guide this season as I will bet on them getting a treble as Print Media Champions.The tipsters who will push them closest are ,Andrew Frost, Xiu Fang, Hui Liang and Tan Thean Loon. On deeper analysis if you are not sure of the form of the horses I would suggest using Andrew Frost and Tan Thean Loon as a cross reference on the condition of the horses as both are track form based specialist handicappers who diligently visit the race track practically everyday. In comparison Xiu Fang, Hui Liang , Larry Foley and myself are armchair Handicappers who make decisions based on track form report made by the trackwatchers. My trainer tip will be to follow Laurie Laxon, Mike Walker, Steven Burridge closely while I expect Saimee to return to championship for and challenge Magic Moreira for the top 2 spots.

Interesting changes have developed on the soccer front as the Newpaper have dropped their non performing expat who was last when compared to the local boys in the Newpaper. In the past I have advocated dropping these non performing expats and give our home grown local boys a chance. I detect Ma Hui missing from the STC stable and we shall miss the friendly Hong Kong Tipster. I suggest we keep monitoring the Straits Times editorials for their strike rates and put the advertising dollars to better use if their strike rate continues to drop below 20%. My applause to Marc Tan as the most improved tipster for last season. Despite having the lowest win score he deserves this recognition as he has actually delivered in tipping longshots last season and I am confident he will not be last if scores were based on dividends of winners which I have always advocated for a change. Gone is the part where he is the butt of jokes from Laurie Laxon that some tipsters did not even put Mexican Rose in their top 3. I believe the STC broadcasting team still owe him an apology for tipping Royal Canata to win on 28 Nov 2010 paying a value dividend $31/$11. Gone is the stubborn Marc Tan who refused to tipped shoo-ins who are raging favourites like Rocket man, Better Than Ever and the likes of Better be The One and Mexican Rose.he has my full respect for improving in this aspect. Never mind if he is last again as he does provide better value dividends than those ahead of him in the bottom half of the Media Tipsters Table.

I hope STC takes some forward steps th wean in a young(I am too old for the job)local Track Presenter/Announcer sometime later this year. I also hope the betting department introduces the Quad bet type in the 1st Quarter of this year and achieve Co-mingling for exotic bets as well if the move does not prove too costly.

I am disappointed that my advice advocating format changes for the New Season for Victory Trail has fallen on deaf ears and they have plodded along with their old format. STC publications like the Newpaper, Shin Min and Wan Bao have their tipsters copmpeting in the Winner21 Challenge. I wonder if they were not invited or have they declined ? Is it because they have no confidence in their level of performance to compete well with the rest of the media tipsters. Are they not all STC publications...where is the consistency in policy? ...one rule for Newpaper, Shin Min and Wan Bao and another for Victory Trail.?

At this rate Victory Trail will continue to be a 3rd rate Publication in comparison to Racing Guide, Punters Way and they will continue to plod in a distant 3rdin both tipping performance and sales of the publication. Imagine they have 3 or 4 tipsters versus Racing Guide and Punters Way whose scores are based on one tipster and they still can't get close to them in tipping scores. Starstatz will drop out of the full card challenge tipping race so their performance is the least of my concern. It will be an awful waste of resources and the publication will not help to keep the horse racing industry on even keel. Let's give them a chance till the end of the year before we revisit the analysis of their performances before passing final judgement. (but do take note I highlighted this problem way in advance). The Managers in charge have to answer for it in their Quarterly reports to the executive staff.

On a lighter note let me end this post with some suggestions for new names of horses inspired by Better Than Ever! How about “Better Late Than Never” ,”Better Than The Best”,”Better Than The One”Better Be The Best”, Better Be A Little Better(chew on calling these names as a mouthful for race callers!).It will be a tongue twister for the race caller if all of them appeared in the same race!

My official exotic bets were standard trio at $20, Tierce at $80 and Quartet at $240 for a total of $340 for a return of $50 on tierce and $112 on quartet for a nett return of $162,. Nett exotic bet loss is $178.

OVERVIEW

I have a special affinity for Better Be The One(BBTO) as he was my banker in a record breaking Quartet of $16727 in his 1st up win on 03 December 2010.

On class he is a shoo-in but the human factor with all the media tipsters jumping on his bandwagon and with a likely odds on dividend his interest in winning may wane. However I believe he is on target for bigger races and will continue to be a shoo-in as long as he does npot meet Rocket Man, Better Than Ever or foreign opposition or if he is not top weight(still can consider) in a handicap race with 59 kg. I sincerely believe he will cut other local position down and still win in a canter despite posting relatively slow speed figures so far. The challenge in this race is to find the 2nd horse or to find a horse that will confidently place at value. Where money is concerned 1 will only put in a medium bet especially if he is an odds on favourite..

The pace will be good with 3 front runners 7-3-10 showing the way and closely followed by on pace runners 9-6.Off pace runners 2-11-5-1—8 with closers 13-7-12 bringing up the rear.

.My key horse for place bet only will be Tuxedo Moon .In order my selections are 6-7-1-2-10-3-8. My exotic bet will be standard trio of top 5 selections at $20 ...standard tierce at $60 (number 6 box with remianing 6 selections on the 2nd and 3rd lines)and standard Quartet at $240(number 6 box with the remaining 6 numbers on the 2nd/3rd/4th lines. In addition I shall add 6/7/1-2-10-3-8-5 for tierce and 6/1-2-10-3-8-5/7 for tierce. I have chosen to omit 11 despite the fact he has done well 1st up with 2 2nds from 9 runs as he might be better suited to the polytrack as he is by American Sire Belong To Me. 11 is also running 4 kg underscaled!

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

With a win on the last day Singapore Nap managed a tally of 30 wins , 25 placing from 91 race selections...... a win strike rate of 32.97% and a win/place strike rate of 60.44%...a poor season by my exacting standards.

For the bigger picture Starstatz Racing added to the joint record (together with Michael Maxworthy) of 9 wins from 12 races in season 2009 with a couple of new 1sts in the 2010 season. Despite this I still managed a poor 2nd to Racing Guide who set a new record of 256 wins in one season with my score of 240 wins relinquish my unofficial title of Internet/Print Media Champion Tipster for season 2009 to Racing Guide. It proved that I am not a one season wonder with a fluke shot surprise score in my 1st tipping season in 2009. I have always claimed that I am comfortably among the Top 5 among all of Singapore's Internet and Print Media Tipsters and a solid rating as a top 3 Tipster without batting an eyelid. I will concede top ranking to Racing Guide as top overall performer for the last 2 seasons and have to contend with the 2nd ranking spot. All my scores are in my blog archive. For the record among the rest of the known Xiu Fang was the best Media Tipster for the Winner 21 challenge ending the season with 231 wins as I had predicted when Larry Foley and XF were engaged in a oulsating battle in the staright but Larry with Australian distractions faded badly on the last weekend and Hui Liang eventually droppped in 3rd with 227 wins edging Larry Foley on 226 wins. Next was Tan Thean Loon at 220 wins , Zheng Qiang was on a tie with Punters Way on 215 wins, Ma Chao came in on 208 wins and Zheng Liang of Shin Min plodded in at 192 wins .Winner 21 edged in at 181 wins , Meng Yew of Wan Bao managed 169 wins and good old Mark Tan contributed with his 153 wins. While 236 wins is a new record total eclipsing 240 for last season I had a better strike rate as there were fewer races in season 2010. My tally of 240 wins was from 810 races if I am not mistaken for a strike rate of 29.74% compared to RG at 236 wins from 911 races for a strike rate of 25.91% if my figures are correct.

Despite having a relatively poor season I still managed 13 winners with dividends of $30 and above compared to 18 wins in season 2009.My top longshot was Boyle at $44/17 on 19 December. I set a new record of striking a quartet of $16727 (albeit with 7 selections instead of the usual 4 by other tipsters.) with the combination of Better Be The One/ Future Baby/ Northern Lion / Tuxedo Moon.on 03 December

I also struck a record breaking direct tierce of Locus Standi/ Temujin/ Dr Lemon on 07 February 2010.. In season 2010 with a pay out of $1098. I believe I set the highest number of 7 direct quartets ranging from $19 to $411 when Always Certain/Ten Ten Lai/Flying West / Just A Man obliged on 27 August...I also managed a overall profit with my experiment on official exotic bets on 6 race days in December....if this is incorrect do contact me for clarification.Due to work commitments in casino advisory on Baccart and a possible venture with a Travel Franchise in 2011 I shall be downgrading my work on my Starstaz Blog to a lower commitment level and will probably either be a non starter in the Media Tipster Challenge for season 2011 or will do it when convenient basis and will probably centre on handicap discussions and reviews on publications and the racing undustry in general. My tip for the season is to watch both Mike Walker(high strike rate with classy types coming in) and Grand Master Laurie Laxon to shade Steve Burridge (as his horses are up in the handicaps) and it remains to be seen if his new string can repeat the dosage of last seasons' championship form.


Having being inspired by Wan Bao stance on a 3 horse selection I have decided to downgrade my freebie offers and will now only give the full Card 7 selections on a pre -paid service. I may not even continue tipping for the whole season and may drop off from time time time in view of my new work commitments for the new season.
