On a day when favourites fell like 10 pins Starstatz Racing put only onw win on the board but Andrew Frost and Racing Guide did slightly better with 2 wins each.Andrew Frost is now on 257 wins from 812 selections(31.65%) and Racing Guide has edged ahead of Starstatz Racing and into 3rd spot with 245 wins from 812 selections (30.17%) and Starstatz Racing is now on 244 wins from 812 selections to go 4th (30.05%). Meanwhile Singapore Nap is on 39 winners / 20 placings from 84 selections (46.43%) in the strike rate challenge.
PREVIEW OF RACE
The weather will play a key role in the outcome of this race with a wet track favouring Deep Pockets despite being significantly underclassed in this wide open race. If the track is good Gingerbread Man will give it a good shake despite his wide barrier draw. I will only give this selection a one * rating and recommend other races for serious horse investments. This race is wide open with all the higly rated horses drawn wide and picking a winner is ike tossing a coin to determine the winner....so a coffee break is actually the best option. The pace will be good with 3 front running types and it is significant that Moreira could have opted for the ride on Waikato but opted to go on Deep Pockets. Go slow on the exotics for this race but I suggest a small box bet on forecast/place forecast on 10#4#3 and add a token bet on win/place on Deep Pockets. In order my selections are *10-4/3-1-11-5-6. Any of the Top 4 picks can win!
