I do see on STC website STC has responded swiftly to last week's omission of Matthew Evans selections and his tips are on STC website. I do apologise for my posting on Singapore Nap regarding his absence. He will be a welcome edition to the tipping panel but Michael Maxworthy's boots are are little large to fill in. I expect Mr Evans to have an adjustment period but he should come good sooner rather than later. I expect Andrew Frost to hold his top position but Monsieur Evans should give the rest from the STC stable a good run for their money and I wouldn't be surprised he might run 2nd among them next year. I find most of his picks rather inspired with strong each way chances and he might even better my score today but I find his pick on Sean (Punters Way pick as well...I rate Maraeti as having better chances) rather baffling(I have made my share of baffling selections as well...remember Bay Of Island who ran last!). Another baffling choice is the omission of Alacarte baffling as well but I find his selection of Superb a serious threat. Overall Matthew Evans will be a great edition to the STC and I do enjoy his background research on the origin of the names of horses and and his race analysis which is informative and spot on. His race calling skills will be World Class with only a little run in time required . STC has done well and I believe Matthew has the potential to be better than some of the race presenters on HKGJC. Despite my slightly judgemental( I might yet be proven wrong ) comments I extend a warm welcome to Matthew(hope he can accept my compliments and feedback in good faith) to the Singapore tipping scene. Today is a mixed bag but do be cautious on races marked "small" but go solidly for the INVEST/VAL-BETS.
My selections today are:-
RACE 1 MEDIUM...10-13- 2/12-8-4-11
RACE 2 SMALL....5-4-3-2/ 6-12-10
RACE 3 MEDIUM... 7-2-9-11/ 12-13-1
RACE 4 SMALL... 10-7-11/ 8-2-6-4
RACE 5 SMALL... 8-4-12/ 11-3-5-2
RACE 6 BIG...1-9-5/ 83-7-10....INVEST BET
RACE 7 BIG... 7-1-9-8/ 3-5-2...INVEST/VAL-BET
RACE 8 MEDIUM... 6-7-5-2/ 9-8-4...BEST LINGSHOT...VAL-BET
RACE 9 MEDIUM...11-1/ 9-6-3-10-2
RACE 10...MEDIUM...2-10-13-6/ 8-10-11

I HAVE NEVER seen any tipster giving a selection of 7 horses. With a field of 10, this is 70%. Why does anybody need such a tip?
ReplyDeleteHe may do better picking the runners on his own. It doesn't make sense. Just for a laugh perhaps, and thanks for that.
AGREE with Desmond.
ReplyDeleteIs the blogger displaying the Race Card of the day? He almost tells us about EVERY horse in EVERY race. Does a punter need such information from this blog?
ANYWAY, we should be thankful for his efforts, although it is rather impossible to follow his "tips". CHEERS !!!
My posting is basically made on deciding between the 1st 2 selections for playing win/place with a preference for my 1st selection. Sometimes based on last minute changes eg drastic change in horse bodyweight, horse behaving oddly in the paddock or reluctant to go into the barriers, change in jockey(does not really affect his chances be to be wary of political change in intention especially if to a weaker jockey), the odds are too skinny.. The rest of my remaining selections...usually total of 7 are meant to help you on deciding on which horses to play on the 2nd/3rd and 4th line according to your budget and liking for the remaining choices. You are at liberty to add/minus to adjust according to your own judgement based on last minute factors known to you but unknown to me at time of posting. Since most tipsters except WanBao tipsters are selecting 4 picks per race and if that is your budget limitation than I would suggest you concentrate on the top 4 horses. Only an inexperience horse player would suggest that I am asking you to bet on all 7 horses for win/place. For win/place I would suggest that you bet on a single horse mainly but sometimes it may be wiser to bet dutch betting on 2 separate horses. This blog is provided without any charge at this mmoment so if you find 7 horses a poor sight for your sore eyes than I would suggest you concentrate on the top 4 only. However with the benefit of better research and experience I should be able to do better than most racegoers. I had a relatively poor day with only 2 winnners on 08 October but if you had played one win on each 1st selection you would have got $44 and $20 from an investment of $50 for 10 races. If you bother to examine my selections I am the only tipster to have the winner of 9 races with my sights from the 1st 4 selections for 08 October including a couple of good value dividends except for Race 1. The best among the rest where one of the top 4 won were Tan Thean Loon and Andrew Frost with 7 races. Icannot cater to all the whims and fancies of all the readers regarding slashes or too many selections as you can see I am not tipping 12 horses in the race. It is meant as an informative to trim down the selections to a manageable budget as some of you with poor knowledge may tend to pick some horses not suited to the race distance for the day as you are not familiar with bloodstock analysis. If you or people like Desmond think you are better than me for whatever reasons I welcome your participation to pit yourself against me...on the proviso that you post on my blog or a public forum or platform like winner21.com
ReplyDeleteAs of 03 October I am lying 2nd among all internet/print media tipsters and a good 10 win margin ahead of 3rd place Larry Foley. After my explaination if you still do not accept my reasons I would suggest that you surf and trawl elsewhere for your horse information does not suit your taste. If you have any practical suggestions or comments backed by logical commonsense thinking I will be more than happy to reply and give you an explaination. Part One...to be continued...
Continued Part 2....By the way Senor Zhong are you in any way related to Desmond Tang? Both of you seem to be from the same Dynasty or from the same flock of feathers although your surnames are different. If you had the fortune to follow my top 4 selections in Race 9 using Black Ice(my 1st selection) as a banker you would have hit the tierce of $3235 and If you had the budget to use my top 5 selections using 11 as the banker you would have hit a sizeable quartet of $5912. In case you are a newcomer to my blog let me remind you that I am one the top tipsters in Singapore for having the most number of direct quartets in a year having hit 3 direct quartets(ie investment of only $2) in the space of 4 weeks in August/September with payouts of $354 when Juwel won , $411 when Always Certain beat Ten Ten Lai and $19(I won multiple tickets spending $4 each on the tierce/quartets when Collect The Cash last won. If any of the regulars have won money on certain days do drop me a line on the blog. My work is far from the finished article and I know I know that are better proffesional tipsters than myselef in the market but as I have proven(you can check each posting on my blog archive0 that I am only 2nd to rRacing Guide this year. If You find the 2nd best internet/print media tipster not your cup of tea then I would suggest you check out larry Foley's(3rd best) blog at kranjiracing.com or HS Chan's blog on winner21 who is currently in mid table but I would higly recommend not to follow winner21 tips as they are probably in the bottom 5 if not 2nd last(my last tally 3 months ago. Even marc Tan is bottom of the table is currently in top form with 2 top of the table performances(including some value bets in recent weeks. So I would suggest you move on or accept my 7 selection which if you don't know is placed in order of merit. I can see what you complaint is all about if You played 11# 1-9-6 for $12 outlay or 11#1-9-6-3 for a $24 outlay of $24 for tierce return and 11#1-9-6 you would have missed the quartet but If you had invested 11#1-9-6-3 you have reaped a healthy reward with the quartet return. Assuming you had lost the whole day in the other 9 races you would still have come out a winner even if you had played $60 on 1st selection as banker with box on 6 horses (total of $600 for the whole card of 10 races). If you done the same for the quartet and spent $240 per race you would have still come out a winner. If you had avoided playing the races marked "small" you would have skipped a further 3 races. Just a note in smaller fields I usually tip one or 2 horses less so I can't understand what you are moaning about. If you have proof that I am tipping the entire field in a field of 12 please show proof by copying and pasting from my blog archive. If you can't then move on and appreciate other blogs since you find it insensible and impossible to follow my tips. You would really naive and a tyro in horse racing if you are suggesting that I am suggesting that you play all 7 horses that I have picked in a single race or to Box all 7 horses for the quartet which would cost you a whopping $1680. I am very sure my followers do not interprete the playing of my 7 selections in the way that both of you have done so!
ReplyDeleteCorrection ...my 9 winners within 4 selection were from all races except Race 2...(not Race 1 as mentioned earlier. Mr Zhong if you reply I hope it is constructive and not emotional(not based on facts presented)
ReplyDeleteWHAT is it that you are trying to tell us?
ReplyDeleteCan you summarise everything in just 5 lines?
If you do not understand simple English I would highly recommend that you take a hike or indulge in other less strenuous(on your brainpower) pastime like kite flying and go and bother other people and don't waste my time! I am just giving solid facts and examples to make my points. If you can't make your point argument based on facts then fallout as I am not obliged to entertain your cryptic remarks Monsieur Zhong alias Monsieur Desmond(either that or you must be Siamese twins...which part is joined I leave it to your imagination!)
ReplyDeleteI don't know who is Desmond. Saw your blog while browsing other blogs.
ReplyDeleteYour blog invited me to post a comment and I obliged. Come on, be a sport. If you cannot take comments and criticisms, then don't blog.
Your long-winded and grossly ungrammatical English turns readers away after the first 2 lines. Don't waste time writing when nobody is reading it.
After my explaination do you still agree with Desmond that I should not provide 7 selections. By the way only the 1st selections count for the internet/print media selection. For win/place you either play my 1st choice or 2nd choice if for some reason like the bodyweight is off by 10kg or that the odds are too skinny. The rest are meant for exotics bet play! As for my grammar mistakes...I am sometimes pressed for time and fail to proof read adequately so they are typo errors which happens even to publications like Punters Way. The main thing is that you understand my thinking. Yes I am long-winded. After a detailed explaination you will have no excuse for not accepting my 7 selections which are made in order of merit. Are you control freaks who try to dictate to bloggers when they do not agree with your views. I find your appearance, writing style and ideas a mirror reflection of Desomond and it is definitely a strange c0-incidence you somehow appeared after he was banned from my blog for nonsensical cryptic remarks that have no direct bearing on horse racing or the quality of my work. Being 2nd best ranked tipster for the season at this stage is not through luck but through effort. Nobody is forcing you to read my blog ..if you cannot accept 7 selections then I suggest you move on to other blogs available in the market.
ReplyDeleteAPA INI ?
ReplyDeleteMumbo Jumbo Grumbo....sampai tua
I better off referring to the New Paper.
So much for your 7 horses.
BYE !
You can only utter gibberish and even after logical explainations are given you still cannot accept the 7 horse selection which is for the benefit of exotic bet players. You and Desmond truly deserve each other and should get to know each other. Thanks for not continuing to disrupt the peace in my blog and let me know how you make money through the tips in the other media. Everybody will have good days and bad days and I am no exception but the key is consistency! Good Luck in your new adventures in the other media! I would highly recommend with sincerity the Racing Guide for your future guidance...they are not top of the table by Luck and neither am I 2nd for the same reason. My tally is now at 194 wins ...17 wins behind Racing Guide(they are set to break my last season's record of 240 wins) and 10 wins ahead of Larry Foley ...the current leader in winner21 forum. In case you have not figured it out my score is based on 1st choice selections and not 7 choices. Some tipsters claim they have plenty of winners through the 4 selections...If this is the correct yardstick ...then my score for last week is 9 winners from 10 races but we all know this is the wrong way of calculation as only the 1st choice counts unless there is a scratching. I hope you will understand my perspective and why I pick 7 selections. I rest my case.
ReplyDeleteI have 10 winners for 10 races because when there are 12 runners, I select 12 and when there are 10 I select 10. So simple.
ReplyDeleteCall me a TOP TIPSTER, please !
